The FBMKLCI (-0.15%) extended its losses for the third consecutive day and closed lower at 1608.97 pts, mainly dragged down by heavyweights like TENAGA (-14.0 sen) and CIMB (-7.0 sen). Nevertheless, the market breadth ended positive, with 534 winners against 513 winners. In the broader market, the Health Care (+1.77%) sector gained the most, which was led by HARTA (+15.0 sen) and TOPGLOV (+4.0 sen) following HARTA's special dividend announcement which boosted the sentiment for gloves-related counters. Meanwhile, the Utilities (-0.74%) sector saw the largest decline.
