（吉隆坡21日訊）為解決雪州水荒危機的短期措施，中央政府計劃舖設暫時性的水管，全長1.5公里，從彭亨經隧道輸送至冷岳河現有濾水廠。
分析
大馬研究表示，雖然目前無法得知所需水管的價值和數量，惟估計可能需要大直徑的水管（超過1千毫米）。
據該行瞭解，至少4家業者已被圈定符合資格投標該配套。
該行預期JAKS資源（JAKS,4723,主板建築組）為潛在受惠者，因該公司是唯一有能力提供應和舖設大直徑水管（直至3千毫米）的綜合水務工程專業公司。此外，Boon and Cheah鋼管公司也是現有冷岳水供計劃的另一家水管供應商。
JAKS資源目前透過和怡保工程（IJM,3336,主板建築組）聯營，負責彭亨－雪蘭莪跨州生水輸送計劃中的彭亨部份水管配套。值得一提的是，該聯營公司在競標活動中擊退一家國際公司而成功奪得此合約。（星洲日報／財經）

We opined that the water pipes and reservoir package could be awarded next, with an estimated value of ~RM1bil, with at least four players have been shortlisted for the water pipe package. We see JAKS Resources (non-rated) as a potential beneficiary of the water pipes package as it is the only player capable of delivering large diameter water pipes on a supply-and-lay basis.

（吉隆坡26日訊）最近大股東森那美（SIME,4197,主板貿服組）頻頻增持東方（E＆O,3417,主板產業組）的股權，似為產業臂膀分拆上市作準備，東方不願對此作出評論，僅表示會做好本份，推出更多優質的產業。
東方副董事經理陳國良今日出席股東大會後表示：“這問題應由他們（森那美）來回答，我們唯一可做的是確保公司持續成長。”
森那美近期頻密在公開市場增購東方股權，促使總持股揚升至32%，僅差1%股權即觸碰33%強制全面獻購關卡。
市場盛傳，森那美是為了“部署”產業臂膀分拆上市計劃，通過整合旗下產業發展資產，包括最終全購東方。（星洲日報／財經）
