Bonus issue of up to 325,903,200 new ordinary shares of RM0.50 each in Berjaya Auto Berhad ("BAuto") ("BAuto Shares") ("Bonus Shares") on the basis of two (2) bonus shares for every five (5) BAuto Shares held.

1) The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “[Ex-Bonus Issue]” as from: 23 Jun 2015 2) The last date of lodgment : 25 Jun 2015 3) Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:- a) Selling Broker to deduct <2/7>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client b) Buying Broker to deduct <28.57%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <2/7>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.
Remarks 1): "Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place on 26 June 2015 with bonus issue of BJAUTO shares of RM0.50 each, any shareholder who is entitled to receive BJAUTO bonus issue shares, may sell any or all of his BJAUTO shares arising from the bonus issue beginning the Ex-Date (23 June 2015).
For example, if Mr X purchases 500 BJAUTO shares on cum basis on 22 June 2015, Mr X should receive 500 shares on 25 June 2015. As a result of the bonus issue, a total of 700 BJAUTO shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of 25 June 2015 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the bonus issue shares of 700 on or after the Ex-Date ie from 23 June 2015 onwards."
Remarks 2): The date of listing and quotation for the Bonus Shares will be 26 June 2015, being the next market day following the entitlement date. The share registrar of BAuto will issue and dispatch the notices of allotment to the entitled shareholders of BAuto by 2 July 2015. This announcement is dated 9 June 2015.
