I quite agree with the observations of LOTR3839, Charles Pang, Mike Chong and other optimists that Zelan is having a bright future, despite the fall in its share prices these last few months. Main share of ZELAN dropped from 8 sen to a pathetic 5.5 sen now. And warrant ZELAN-WA from 2 to 0.5 sen. On the bright side, the Pahang IIUM, SUKE and other ongoing projects will become good income generators. These positives will outweigh the previous negative investments in the Middle East, among others. Recently there were changes in the COO, audit committee and company secretary - hopefully for the better. And according to the latest Annual Report of 2017, the giant corporation MMC is a major shareholder of almost 40%. And MMC's boss is Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Albukhary. Arguably, Syed Mokhtar is referred to as the Anak Angkat or King of Cronies by the Big Canon financial blog. Well, now we know that Syed Mokhtar is certainly still in the good books of the present PH government under the 93-year young Tun Dr. Mahathir of New Malaysia. Not tainted by the excesses of the former PM. Why I say this? Syed Mokhtar is regularly seen with Mahathir nowadays. Like a few days ago he was prominently shown with Mahathir in London, England during the promotion of Lotus cars and Geely. Because they are fellow Kedahans or because Mahathir knows Syed Mohktar can deliver? So, crony or not, Syed Mokhtar and DRB will be relevant to Malaysia Baru. And by that extension Zelan, even though a small part of Syed Mokhtar's vast business empire, will thrive and will not go down the PN17 way. Hence, by right and by the will of God Almighty, the share prices of Zelan The Mother and The Son will rise up from the ashes like the phoenix. God willing. Sorry, I have to invoke God's name and seek His Divine Assistance as I'm becoming and feeling more religious lately, like our former PM Najib Razak.
