its fairly easy to calculate.. the dividend given x with the number of unit u owned.
example, i got 100k unit = 100000 x 0.01 = 1k

as of now, support seems to be at 1.06.. im also thinking buying this share at 1.06.. if support lose at 1.06, 2nd support should be at 1.02..

Some suggestion.
For those who are unsure and/or worry, 2 suggestion for you guys,
1.why don't just sell it off and problem solve.
2.do some more research, understand the compang ongoing and future prospect and do some background check for those big shoot, ie the ceo's, whether they are good or not.

however, judging by the movement based on historical data on l&g, it would seems is impossible to drop below 0.60 as of now.

pretty sure Marco, Pdz and Sumatec wont limit down.. do some research and you will know why..
still, in market, there's no 100% sure so guys pls buy with cool mind and rationally. dont let emotion cloud your judgment.

tigerbeer, lol.. im not big shark.. jz a small small figure. well, i view myself more towards investor. research, reading, understanding, patience and confidence is the key, IMO. the moment u believe, u will have more courage to buy, collect and hold.
of cos, information now does not mean it will last/stay the same forever.
when there's noise, dont panic, in fact try to analyze the facts given by those noisemaker.
depending on true is the facts, act accordingly.

0.58 is unlikely to happen if it was meant to force selling until price drop to 0.58 but anything can happen so my thought is l&g might go into slumber for few weeks/months before moving again. (check the chart)

by the time suma exit pn17, expected it to stay on 0.52~0.49..

Lol.. Bought it due to company operation but cos of ahmad johari appointed being director, pushed price up. Looks like by the end if this month, 0.35 is possible.

off market 35m shares traded @ 0.34, if this is true, someone have an interest on sumatec. wonder will they even release who bought @0.34.

and investor willingly to bought higher than market price also means that, the investor believe in sumatec future. some more it was done even when pn17 havent lifted.

this could means that investor starting to have faith in sumatec. nice.. this two days the buying force are pretty strong.

Bought some at 0.305 after seeing their quarterly result and announcements. Luckily now alr started to earn.

At least the management team are confident enough to make statement. And looking really good in next quarter report. Definitely is positive but was hopping increasing by at least 20%, comparing to previous.
If they manage to lift pn17 status, definitely will boost investor confidence and have faith in the management team which able to lift pn17 in such short period and able to spot "gold mine".
Please don't be too over confident by hopping it will > 0.80 after uplift pn17.
It's possible but the chances are slim. > 0.55 is what I'm hopping.

Anyway, good job for sumatec management team. Nicely done

dd128, for it to up > 0.80, it is possible if and when they announced they have book value > 1bil.
For a losing company to a wining company, its ain easy.
Much effort needed to revive and convince it's investor,debtor and creditor.
Their effort have been rewarded. Just look at their quarterly result.
Now to regain the faith for the company. It's ain't easy but providing they keep showing positive result.
Eventually, ppl will have faith in them.

After seeing their quarterly report, and the latest announcement, I'm pretty sure that sumatec going on course. And seems to me, the ceo have clear direction and motivation to bring up sumatec.
still I'm not convince that this year will up till >0.80
I'm aiming 0.46~0.55
I'll keeping an eye on this for awhile.

even if sumatec exit pn17, i dont think it will push up the price significantly.
many investor still skeptical investing in sumatec for 2 simple reason, imo
1. previously a pn17 status company
2. a relatively newbie company in oil and gas sector.
certainly is great that if sumatec can lift pn17 status but dont get your hope too high, it might raise the price but not significantly high.
judging from their previous quarterly result, i would say they are doing a great job despite that they are in pn17 and newbie in oil and gas sector.
upon exiting pn17, a catalyst is needed to push it up significantly.

@mmk79, yup. im planning to hold long term, my long term is between 9~12 month, or even longer depending on the news/rumors.. im not a contra player. and i dont advise anyone here should play contra.
many investor and trader still not confident with this counter probably due to its pn17 status and this company and its name still pretty new in oil and gas sector.
as for dropping, well, there's no stock that always going up.. but judging by the volume, buying interest is pretty strong.
imo, i dont think this month will pass any higher than 0.34.. but since im keeping for long term, fluctuation meaning i can top up between now and then depending on the news.
meanwhile, looking for another gem, L&G :-) for long term as well.. LOL

regardless, i still believed that sumatec is on the right track.

i believe sumatec is on the right track now. however, i dont believe within this year it could rise about rm1. too unrealistic.. perhaps 0.50~0.80 a much easier to achieve.


Sumatec finds more oil at Kazakhstan field
Sumatec Resources Bhd says fresh review of its oil and gas field in Rakushechnoye, Kazakhstan has yielded a 14.5% increase in proven oil reserves to 129m barrels. “The increase in reserves is the first significant achievement for Sumatec with this asset,’’ Sumatec CEO Christopher Layton Dalton said. “An additional 10m barrels of oil is now available under 2P reserves to Sumatec (worth US$175m in net profit from oil sale) without paying any more than the initial US$95m,’’ he said in a statement yesterday. The estimated net profit of US$175m was based on Brent price of US100 (RM321) per barrel and US$35 per barrel net profit of which Sumatec is entitled to 50% of, after 2m barrels of oil has been produced.
In the same statement, Sumatec has proven 2,059bn cu ft (bcf) of gas (1 bcf equals to 1 trillion British thermal units) in Rakushechnoye field, Last year, Sumatec invested US$95m in the Rakushechnoye oil and gas field and signed a gas development agreement with Markmore Energy (Labuan) Sdn Bhd for the rights to develop and commercialise the project.
Since taking over operations of the field, Sumatec has started its workover programme to ramp up the production to 2000 barrels per day by the end of 2014. (Star Biz)

Judging from their decision and popularity of mobile data also, I assuming they wants to venture in mobile services or possibility of providing 4G broadband.

Reason is those working out from hometown probably either using yes or mobile data for online, which most of my friend are doing so.

If they were to targets this segmentation, then it's good for them to buy P1 at such low price. Which the cost of building from scratch are far more expensive.

Still I prefer mobile services. I'm owaz on the move, having to bring dongle/modem is annoying

i agree with ktsk88 and hopefully they will offer the true unlimited. unlike those in the market where there are protected by FUP with ridiculous capped spd, 64kbps/128kbps. BS.

streamyx offers spd range from 384kbps to 4mbps with unlimited quota.
if they were to venture into mobile services, hopefully they do the same.
i dont mind if the speed capped at 2 ~ 4 mbps as long as its unlimited.

tm willingly to further invest another 1.65b.. the business prospect does have its own future, imo will be a pretty bright one PROVIDED they play their card right.
Of cos there's ALOT improvement/upgrade in terms of their coverage, customer service, performance and etc.. give them time to re-calibrate and reorganize..
perhaps within this year, new plan, packages will be since the spectrum already setup.

its hard to believe that TM will inject 350m + 1.65b if they have no plans that can help them to cover their capital + earning.
