with the transmission line of <Champa-Kurukshetra> and <Jaipur-Bhiwani>, the distribution companies or discoms in Delhi or north region of India could buy energy from western region (Chhattisgarh, where RKM based) in cheaper rate and exit from the PPAs that they have with costly power plants of NTPC Ltd that include Badarpur, Jhajjar and Auriya in order to reduce their power purchase cost.

765 kV Jaipur-Bhiwani transmission line also commissioned recently and I believe soon the balance 150MW of electricity(RKM) will started commissioned and so the unit 2 power plant.

based on the situation of other bidders couldn't able to supply power, and this is the advantage situation for RKM which powerplant of RKM (unit1) already in operation for testing purposes and has been selling power generated to the Indian Energy Exchange.

I think Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (“UPERC”) will soon passes the Review Petition submitted by UPPCL and RKM will also receive the Notice of Despatch for the commencement (for unit 1 and 2) very soon

UPPCL has not been able to get 2175 MW power from the 4 bidders with whom the PPAs were signed. Getting LTOA or MTOA is difficult due to interstate transmission constraint. UPPCL has maintained that they are in need of power therefore there is no reason for us to stop the adoption of tariff of a bidder(RKM Powergen) who is in a position to start the supply immediately.
