Reference is made to Kanger’s announcement on 29 September 2020 (ref no. GA1-29092020-00043) whereby the Group had entered into a three-year collaboration agreement with Sinopharm Group Hunan Changde Medical Co Ltd for the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines and medical equipment in Malaysia which are developed by China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (“Sinopharm”).
 
The Board of Directors of Kanger is pleased to announce that National Institutes of Biotechnology Malaysia (“NIBM”), an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation Malaysia has issued a letter which states that NIBM has no objections for Kanger to communicate with the relevant stakeholders at Sinopharm to purchase Covid-19 vaccines for private sector use in Malaysia.

We refer to our announcement dated 22 September 2020 (ref no. GA1-21092020-00054) in
relation to the Proxy Agreement with Shenzhen Public Health Technology Co., Ltd. Unless
otherwise stated, the defined terms used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as
defined in the earlier announcement made.
In connection thereto, the Company wishes to provide the following additional information:
1. SZPHT is a medical supply company. They supply personal protective equipments such
as medical mask, isolation gown, medical gloves and others throughout nationwide of
China and also export to other countries such as Malaysia, European countries and
middle eastern country.
2. Kanger require approval from local authorities such as Ministry of Health, National
Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency and possibly other departments that involved
(depends on country requirement).
3. SZPHT is in the process of negotiation on behalf of Kanger with CNBG/SINOPHARM
and the dateline agreed by both parties is mentioned in the contract.
4. The will be no cost in the event if SZPHT fails to secure the dealership/distributorship.
5. The risks of the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines are approval of local authorities,
logistics handling of the vaccines, and competitors.
