It is very sad to know this product exist as we are a retail investor can only see and learn and we cannot buy. BURSA MALAYSIA should go back to study the rules to comply before having such a publicity in all news and presses. FYI, this two ETF only for individual with RM3m in asset. And before you are eligible to buy, you have to declare that you are eligible, otherwise you cannot buy. SO, the big question to BURSA is , why do you have such a good product and you intend to use this product to generate more activity and yet you do not allow retailer to buy?....BURSA, are you telling all people in the world that theis ETF is higher risk than all call warrants listed in BURSA?..why retalers allow to buy call warrants and not ETF?...are you telling all people in the world that KLCI as index can drop to zero, and high risk so you care doing good job to protect investors? Rememeber, all call warrants can become worthless, why dont you protect them?
The more laugh is investor here can buy HONG KONG A50 ETF, and cannot buy bursa etf, what a joke , BURSA!!

DickyMe The interested parties are gamblers! they are not interested in the company's business but to put some "sens" to get some ringgit from the unsuspecting joe public.---- if you think they are no good, better sell? if you think they bring up the price higher, buy more?...no risk no gain is true also.....when you buy good co. and you think the interested parties are good in doing business, you are also taking risk ?....look at BAT, used to bee super blue chip RM70, now is only RM12....what business you are talking about...are the board of BAT/ Management not doing a good job?...when the trend chnaged, it's changed...nobody know one day NESTLE can drop also?

doesnt anyone know human psycology, at 4sen people still sell...but if 6sen, people buy?!! even at 20sen, people buy...people buy because of HOPE, if there is no hope, no dream, people wont do anything...take a look at most active penny stocks, people buy even the pric eis up 100%...people buy beacuse of volume is there, because there is movementum, because they feel that they can SEE the price moving up...even all these is not real, people still do, because this is HUMAN NATURE OF GREED

i wonder how people surrounding look at him in CNY gathering?...normal human behaviou tells an indiividual want people to give some respect?...but when people asked how come digistar a 4sen co.? I am sure he answer this way:- "i focus on business, not share price"....but people look down on him?....you be the judge!.....at least the banks dont look down on him..bank still lend him money!...aiyah....4en share is a shame somehow....some more whole family also on board!... as a shareholders=, we want business and also share price good, right?

everyone can take a look at digistar-w expire in 3yrs, exercise price 0.26, there is a queue to buy at 0.015 / 4million share everyday...and there were trasaction at 0.02 most of the time....think again who say no risk taking investor?....see, if you buy warrants, hold 3years alos nothing happend, it will beocmes zero.....better buy mother!

Albukhary , about your point of view on digistar being a RM26m co. can borrow RM280m, I fully agree and the rating agency is trustable benchmark to look at a co.
1) Someone with big title appointed as Director of the company:- I think this will help a bit if the perosn is well connected or reputable in the industry. But this is no the truth type of bet a speculator/investor shoudl look at. For example, vivocom appoint CKC as new shareholder doesnt necessary bring good to co. ...and it takes time for thing to materialise? for speculation, we need speed, and fast return?...
2) MoU with big MNC on some big project :- lots of co like ARBB has lots of MOU with many co. an dmany project, but things like this is only if the "interested parties" wanted to play the share up or down?...and we dont see this on digistar for the past 5 years or more..so we can forget about it!.....
i think i can more agree on:==
lchits With 20m can own a public listing company and then appoint the whole family as co.director with 2-3m pay annually
Correct arr??
correct.....but if there is a private equity fund size around RM20+, and the major shareholder doesnt hold any unpublished share, a hostile buy out will mess his up....
even an individual who has net worth of RM1.5m will be able to challenge him in AGM/EGM to block most resoulutions. Why?... simple methematic; market cap RM26m *5% =RM1.3m
will becomes 5% individual holding. If this person able to partner with another freind who has RM1.5 to buy another 5% will bring in total 10%, and then we will wathc the show in AGM/EGM to remove those unecessary people as director? this is the logic, and we have seem in many companies, but will this helps?....
can we imagine how naive is malaysia investors, or how come no risk taking investor who aim this type of compnay whereby the major shareholder not even hold more than 30% in a co....why would he drive the whole co. ? is there no capable people in malaysia?
2020-01-17 11:34 | Report Abuse
1. at 4sen, the whole co. market cap is RM26m,
2. major shareholder hold around 22%, which is RM5.72m ONLY
3. a private equity fund, or a few high networth individuals with the fund size of RM20+ would be able to buy 50% shareholdings or more and maybe trigger the MGO at 33% first.
4. I expect the major shareholder will not dare to sell down his stake if there is any buyer offer below the NTA.
5. digistar able to borrow in bond RM280m, can it be worth so little at RM26m now?
6. Digistar, a co. with concession and hotel business is so cheap, why there is no risk taker to take control? (i hold digistar share)

Hi Albukhary, you have a very good understanding on digistar. Indeed I have the same mindset like you on how do speculate on digistar at 0.04. Yes 1sen gain is 25%, it is not so difficult if the stock is in play. This is valid bet as we can see all the top volume stocks are penny stocks. Whether it remain sleeping or not is the question we should ask. And i believe you have list down 4 possibilities:
-1) Some company offer to buy their concession business-->i think possible, but unlikely to get it done as the major shareholder is not willing to sell?
2) Digistar secure new concession business --> no news lead yet
3) Some company want to buy its hotel property--> it's true, it can be. BUt unlikely also. Why would he sell?
4) Being acquire by other company for backdoor listing--> OR WE MAY THINK IT'S A HOSTILE TAKE OVER?....LET'S SEE WHY IT IS POSSIBLE!

mr calvin, could it be true that they sell to appear to YOU are red flag. But what about they subscribe the right at only RM 0.9, does that appear to you they are Long Term investor? isn't it a strategy of SELL high BUY low??!!

AGREE.....so, you have a choice, dont get involve with this type of issuer... I have the same feeling with you too
2018-04-19 11:11 | Report Abuse
for those who trade call warrants so many years, do they realized that the price you pay for c46 is premium of 10% and c47 premium of 14% above the fair value?
You buy call warrant is like to betting with the issuer, while they are selling you at a premium price, you bet with them until expiry. In this case CIMB issuer is on the view that the monter will not goes up so much , therefore they are not willing to market made the price up. WHile c47, the macquaries is on the view that genting can move higher, so the maket make to create some trading opportunity.
Utimately , if genting mother share move above the fair value, there is no choice, all call warrant issuerS will have to respond to it. In this case, c46 is 9.85+5(0.025)=RM9.975. so, if genting move beyond this price and cimb issuer still dont respond, then you may complaint to bursa, sc or whatsoever.
I am as frustrated as you guys here because, a lot of time mother share moved, but call warrants not moving at all.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS BY HEART, 1. YOU BUY AT PREMIUM PRICE 2. YOU ARE BETTING WITH THE ISSUER. (SOMETIMES THE ISSUER MAY LOSS MONEY ALSO, IN THIS CASE IF GENTING IS RM10.50 NOW AND WILL THE CIMB SIISUER STILL WANT TO SELL AT 0.025/0.03? THINK AGAIN BEFORE YOU GET SO ANGRY!!)

at first i thought the same like you also mr hng, but have you figure out, it is not OLH wish to get 100% in oskp...similarly, it is not OLH intention to privatise PJD...maybe he want just 50+1% enough...u see, oskp price at 1.95..meaning those who need to sell can sell in the market..nobody will sell to him 1.95 in cash/osk share....also, pjd at 1.53/1.54 is equal to 1.53*5/4=1.91 in osk..yet osk still remain at 1.86..meaning OLH has no more intention to push osk...those pjd shareholder will opt for cash if they want to accept the offer...or simply sell in open market...in other word, there will be no dilution in osk share...not share exhaang that we intented to see

i think discipline is important. I think a suitable position in asset alloacation: i.e/ equity vs bond/finxed income is the key success in portfolio managment. To pick the right stock is not difficult. There are plently of good stocks out there; if not in malaysia, there are million of listed companies in the world. Does anyone think on question that when market crashed, do you still have the cash position to buy more..warrant buffect is doing that now?
