AirAsia Bhd has a 45% equity interest in AirAsia Thailand, 49& in AirAsia Indonesia, 40% in AirAsia Philippines & 49& in AirAsia Japan.
AirAsia Thailand was recently listed in the Thai stock market and the 45& equity interest translate to RM 1,160,370,000 thereby unlocking the true value of AirAsia Bhd.
Indonesia, Philippines & Japan are not yet included in the balance sheet as they are still experiencing losses but Indonesia is expected to recover the first.
Imagine if AirAsia Indonesia get listed in the near future, how much will AirAsia Bhd worth with 49& equity stake?
Lets wait tomorrow for the market to make up its own mind on the fair value!

Bought some as i believe its been battered down way too much. As a long term investor, i have accepted short term price swings as a certainty in life because i know that over the medium/long term, the stock appreciate in its value.

Some of the directors are deposing everyday....good news is they are about to have zero shares left to dispose, maybe then the price will go up, let's see 1-2 weeks from now
