Current financial year 1H is at 483mil revenue.
Current achieved revenue 1.2b - recognized revenue 483m = 717m.
Unbilled sales since 1 year ago stood at around 1.1b - 1.2b. Last quarter was at 1.4b.
Meaning, even if the achieved revenue 1.2b is not fully recognized in coming quarters, the previous unbilled sales will cover.
Coming few QRs should easily break historical high, might even be consecutively.

@martinbartesque why did you delete all your comments yesterday? Make my comments look like talking to ghost lol.

Didn't notice he used the term 'revenue' instead of 'sales'. But the 1.2b target was sales target instead of revenue target mentioned several times in previous QR. If it is really revenue as per what he said then coming QR EPS will break historical high by big margin.

@martinbartesque
Can't just calculate the sales from this quarter as a lot of them would still be unbilled. But nonetheless looking at the historical high unbilled sales last quarter, coming few quarters EPS and revenue should grow at a good pace. Factor in multiple new projects and mega JV projects at multiple location/country, current price is extremely undervalued.

EPF is buying in millions these 2 months but the price is not going up one bit. Feels like someone is throwing the shares to them.
I've been investing in both Matrix and Matrix-WA since years ago. Average cost for Matrix is RM2.1, Matrix-WA is RM0.35. Huge paper loss now.

If you mean those announcement of directors 'dealing with company share', it's just 'director getting more shares due to bonus issue'. Nothing special.

If you bought 4000unit@rm2.50 before bonus ex-date, you'll be eligible for extra 1000 shares with a total of 5000unit@current price after bonus ex-date.

I mean Exercise Price not Warrant Price.

Is the warrant exercise price adjusted?

I'm a long term investor of Matrix... hold its shares not long after listed. I have strong confidence on Matrix. I was trying to express that ESOS is directly impacting on the share price a lot, especially these 2 years. I hope the management understand this...

Normally employees would just purchase the ESOS and directly throw them into the market to make instant profits. Is like giving out bonus at the expense of minor shareholders.

More like the directors taking advantage of minor shareholders...

Way too many ESOS this year... keep diluting shareholders like us, feels like cheated.

Ste4dy15 why quarterly result not good still can up so much?
22/05/2017 16:35
The quarter result is not necessary bad. Overall profit and NTA has improved compared year to year. And this is with significant portion of billings not recognised this quarter (according to the report).
Now Property sentiment is still low, with average market PE 4-7. If property sentiment comes back, in 1-2 years Matrix can probably raised above RM4 at least with its DY and EPS growth.

Nope, usually warrant amount will stay the same but its exercise price will be adjusted to match the new amount of total shares. So the price won't suffer losses.

There is a statement in the report, 'A significant portion of the progress
billings would only be recognized after the end of the quarter under review'. Looks like the show will not end so soon.

RM 64,645,000.00 cash, which is equivalent to RM 0.11 per share.

Current dividend yield around 5.5%. Looking at its financial growth the dividend yield is most likely to raised to 7-8% in 1-2 years time at current price. Furthermore Matrix gives out dividend every 3 months. Definitely a good stock for mid-long term investment.

@LouiseS
EPS seems dropping only because Matrix gave out bonus shares 3 times over last 5 years. Analyse EPS trend without considering capital changes of shares is very wrong. Contrary to your analysis, Matrix has achieved historical highest earning in the past 4 quarters compared to any financial year since listed. Its revenue and profit growth has been very consistently increase over all these years, and might grow significantly in the coming few quarters due to very high unbilled sales at the moment and government effort to boost property market.
