Patience in stock trading is waiting for price to come to a critical support zone which you believe the downtrend will probably end n the bulls will come back in. At the support price zone, observe the bull n bear fight. When the bulls are on upper hand, then there is confirmation that the market conform with your opinion and immediately join in the bulls. The action is like a cobra waiting to strike. Wait for the right moment, when it comes, then strike it.

Buying too early can be damaging to your mental wellbeing n wallet. When the correct moment to buy finally come, you may be disillusioned n missed it. You may have just cutloss n unwilling to get back in again. I have preached this many times abt patience. You are dealing with stock market, the masses' psychology n madness, greed n fear at extreme. Hence a trader needs a good trading strategy n trading rules to make money consistently from the market. Even guru koon y.y also says the chart more important than fundamentals to make money from the market.

So that indian astrology say february ma. There will be a selldown but guess is a healthy correction. So collect on almost the end of February after the lockdown/mco declared before vaccine arrived in malaysia. I guess the timing could be right.

As a trader, I prefer to patient and buy at critical support zone together with strength in price action. That means market's action conforms with my opinion and it will be time for me to act. I prefer to buy in an increasing price scaling my position up. That will mean my judgment is right, my first trade is correct, im in the money, my account is showing me profits, not losses in traded position. Im risking the market's money (unrelised profits) to execute my second batch of buying. My capital is safe. This is the correct way to trade.

Can see from today's price action there is more panic and motivated sellers for this stock. Bears are winning for now.

Above rm4.30 was a good level to exit long positions for those kena stuck at higher price. It was also a good level to re-execute shorting position if you have shorted and covered during the previous downwave.

I am a stock trader, I speak according to what I see on the chart. Apologies and no offense if I have been truthful but blunt.

Today's volume quite active. I think the sellers are out. Better be cautious may drift lower. I trade to win money, not to prove my opinion is correct. The market is always right and I don't argue with the market. I dont like to hold on to losing position or fight a battle on the losing side. It is harmful to the wellbeing of my mind and my pocket.

Remember that opinions are often wrong. The market is always right. The market dont care about your expectations. You may think its cheap but the market may think it should get cheaper. 2021 is probably another loss making year for Genting. No more rm3.00 but maybe rmm3.50 zone?

Genting is a weak stock for now and has been making lower highs, lower lows. If the next major global selloff happen now, it can bring this stock below the rm4 zone neckline and confirm the H&S formation pattern.

Mai kanchiong. Be patient. The market will show its hand to the patient trader.

They declared dividend already meh? Cannot use precovid past dividend and project it as future dividend.

I think they will declare some dividend because LKT has personal debt full to the brim and desperately need some Genting's dividend to payoff his personal loan interest charges. But in times like these when the company is losing billions and capex running into multi-billions, it is unwise to declare dividends like precovid times.

Be patient. Rebound rally just over. Later kena injured and bulldozed by immediate downtrend market forces. You could be buying from a big shortie selling to you who is re-accumulating new short position after a successful shorting operation.

Dow is not responding well to proposed stimulus. A selldown could be near (looming tax hike issue under biden administration). For KLCI, MCO will probably last for 4 weeks and interstate travel at least 8 weeks (or even longer) so there is little catalyst for now. Mai kanchiong first.

Chart wise, feels like this stock could be making a head-and-shoulder formation with the right shoulder peak just finished forming and price in the mist of moving towards the rm4.0 zone neckline. Wait and see the possible big fight at rm4 zone first. If neckline is broken convincingly, all hell break lose.

If severe market selldown really happen and rm4.0 is broken convincingly, I know where is the next good support level. I will be waiting there with my mounted machine gun to spray my bullets.

9 months ago everyone said covid will be over by 2020 and strong earnings recovery from 2020 Q3 onwards. Looks like everything needs to be pushed back by at least 12 months from earlier predictions.

Ok so after using positive cash flow rm4.5b to give out dividends rm2.6b, net cash inflow will be rm1.9b to finance this year's capex of rm13.0b via obtaining further loans for capex.

I honestly think that by end of 2021, casino patron numbers will not go back to precovid times. Not even in 2022. It will probably take years for non-essential flying tourists to reach back to 2019 tourist visit numbers. Tourism and flying habits have changed drastically.

Genting need to survive through this crisis first, dividend can come later after crisis over. When covid first started no one expected it to be so serious even 1 year later. Also, we need to look at genting's total outstanding short term and long term debts.

At 11.54am when price was 4.32, @MorningGlory123 was thinking of buying. Read my advice then. Now price is 4.26.

AngTayKhor last week wrong prediction. Who follow him really jialat. This week he forecast again. Hahaha.

Last week I sold at abt 4.40. What's wrong to sell at 4.40 then? The price did crash after I sold.

From my tick chart, any break below 4.23 is jialat liow

MCO2.0 probably 4 weeks, interstate travel most likely ban for at least 2 months. Minister already said that the 7th Dec release of interstate travel ban was a mistake. I think govt will take a much more cautious stand on this the next time.

If you want to buy, buy on deep pullback, not when short covering rebound almost over.

I have explained yesterday that above 4.30 is good price for those stuck at higher price (prior to any ministers' public speech about potential interstate travel ban or MCO2.0) to offload, not a good price to enter new long position. Im speaking from a trading point of view.

Biden stimulus plan is out but dow futures turning red (sell in news syndrome?). Next Monday USA holiday so there is selling pressure tonight for dow.

Shorties may launch another round of attack on this stock again. Genting Highland's Q1 recovery and CNY biz boom is not happening. Safer to stay cautious.

Market has been gearing up for Biden's expected stimulus news tonight. most likely will see the sell in news syndrome tomorrow.

But it's not correct to preempt that MCO is going to be 2 months...

Events change. Charts get updated daily. Short term uptrend line broken. Price couldn't cross above short term downtrend line.

For short term, this stock is still on immediate downtrend. Today traded above rm4.30 was a good price to sell for those stuck at higher price. Above 4.30 for post MCO2.0 price, it is higher than 7 Jan (first day of market reaction to Health minister's announcement). Health minister announced possible interstate travel restriction on the 6 Jan evening time. At that time, another Minister came out and said no MCO stop spreading false rumour so everyone think it is unlikely to be a blanket multi-state MCO. But it happened. And its very bad for Genting's business for at least the next 2 months.

Tmr after Biden's stimulus news the shorties may come out in force again.
