Yup. I buy for 2028. Not buying for tomorrow. A tortoise race for us to achieve our target. Slow but definitely

SBB didn't resume yesterday for unknown reason. A bit disappointed as currently volume is low and minimal SBB will provide a massive support

There's almost negligible negatives apart from the shareholdings. Basically the current share price is low due to large holding by retailers (weak holding power), high free float shares in market. Well done management and thanks Jimmy for these slides. It's easier to read graphs n charts for better understanding

Today's SBB is on the strong side. That's the only way to support the share price
6 days ago | Report Abuse
Yes Jimmy. To issue warrant at these prices are totally a humiliating sign to the share price. We shouldn't let them win. To be frank if I could, I would have sacrifice all dividends in exchange of SBB. Just wipe out all these shares for the sake of future.

Allowing shorties to cover position at 1.99 is definitely not good for us.

Perhaps we need to ask these ppl why they hate hibiscus so much. Please don't channel Ur hatred here. Plus according to the latest development on marigold and sunflower field, it is expected to produce 40k bbd at its peak. hibiscus is basically safeguarded with plenty of untapped resources. It might not be a dream to see a production of 100k bbd of oil and oil equivalent.

No call warrant expiring this month. Hopefully the SBB can mitigate the short selling problem by January as another round of call warrant will expire then. We have to thank those who dump for us to collect.

Today's SBB isn't heavy enough to defend the share price. Jimmy do update us the short position as usual. Tq

Short term pain for long term gain. There's just too much sellers who wouldn't want to hold on to the stock. We will be the one willing to take over these holdings. Rest assured a year from now we can reap the harvest provided 20 per cent of shares are wiped out from free market

But today, as usual there's heavy dumping again in the morning. SBB has to be more aggressive to counter this pressing. Totally agree with you that there's no fund house or big investor circling this counter.

C71 is reali a daring bet. By the time it reaches maturity., I'm quite sure the share price will be north of 2.5. load it up tmrw.
2 weeks ago | Report Abuse
I'm also curious who is dumping for me and the SBB to collect. Buying momentum is still not here yet and thus it's reali hard for us to see massive gap up.
2 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Well done. I entered at 2.07. do update us the shorted volume later. Tq

Yes Jimmy. Everything is on the right track. Hopefully we can reach the TP of 4. Which is the previous high when oil is at the highest.
2 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Perhaps the shorties are not dare to hold long enough. Or the shorties change hands. Anyway the stock is obviously on the upside of a cycle. RM 3 is definitely coming. RM 4 maybe?
2 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Good morning shorties, why haven't u short the stock for us?
2 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Covering of this 15.4 million shares and perhaps another SBB of 40 million shares can push the share price above RM 3. Hopefully my dream will come true
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Wats the cumulative short selling till now Jimmy? Need to prepare for the shopping spree prior to their cover
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Looks like privatisation also on the board. This SBB signal is just so clear and strong that our share value will be uphold
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Share price is determined by supply and demand. Another 10% SBB will deter anyone from short selling. Coupling with the facts that profit will be high, in 6 months time, hopefully the number 3 will be a dream come true
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Have faith. When the total amount of SBB breaches 10%, we shall see our share price north of RM 3

As expected, the share price won't be affected. Bcoz this is just the beginning. Roman empire is not built in a day. Just follow Berkshire pathway. Top up if u have capability. U either do the trading way or investing way.
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Does Berkshire Hathaway rings a bell? I personally prefers cancellation as it will only increase the NTA. I guess the call warrants won't be affected as it doesn't affect the current share price like ex dividend. As I always said, have confident in the management, they are working their wonders in all ways.

The treasury shares are all cancelled. Total issued shares had reduced. Here we go for another new cycle of buying and cancellation again

We miss the big collection from boss Michael too. Besides shorties, I guess there's too many doubters out there that won't keep this stock in their portfolio. This stock has been assumed as a trading stock and this perception must change.

The problem with ppl nowadays is they don't look into details. They just create nonsense through quoting and personal assumption. If u want ppl to believe in u, speak in facts and figures

Great comment by Jimmy. They shorted so much. And they have to short even more to push the price down. But where to get the shares if company continue SBB at this aggressive rate. Sooner or later we will see it moving north. And like u say, we can only show through action. Not everyone might enter at the lowest price but definitely entering now is a sure win

Management has explained diligently in the podcast on the matter of share price which is not under their sole control.. SBB will be executed as long as they think the share price is undervalued which everyone can see they are doing it on a consistent basis. I didn't say u r the one spreading negative news. U should have known clearly in this forum which individual is posting imbecile comment
3 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Management is not at fault. Just the ESG theme, the one who dictates the pressing is at fault. Finally even retailers are partially at fault too. We could have keep buying instead of spreading false news/negative news that might encourage more ppl to sell rather than buying
4 weeks ago | Report Abuse
Management just did one of the greatest SBB today breaching 1 million units. Today's trading volume has shrunken below 4 million units. Let the SBB move continue. I believe by wiping out 10% of floating shares in the open market will push the price above 3 easily
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Yes. Next qr u shall see hibiscus reap the reward from it's expansion
1 month ago | Report Abuse
Good to know twynstar. At current rate of SBB, easily by next qr the total amount of SBB will be more than 10%. Anything would be possible with minimal amount of floating shares in the market and such a depressed share price will only make everything more feasible be it privatisation or takeover.

This hibiscus is a marathon stock. We knew it's undervalued. We knew the company is doing SBB aggressively by which they have accumulated almost 5% from open market so far. It's always a matter of time before the shorties, traders and gut-less minority realise it's impossible to push it down somemore

Production is 16kbbl/d due to various unplanned and planned maintenance. Production has from Oct onwards increase to 27kbbl/d. It's so easy to project it's profit based on production. Basically even at current low Brent price, profit will top 100-120 mill/qr. Most importantly cash flow didn't even drop but increase after the acquisition which strongly suggests that all future and ongoing projects will be carried out

Nuts analyst with nuts prediction. I dare them to press to that price so that I can enter more
1 month ago | Report Abuse
To be frank, there's no such thing as fake transaction. It's a willing to buy and willing to sell basis. If someone decided to press it by selling tons, u can always man up and eat up everything. The prob is ppl don't have the guts. Always waiting for the lowest as if u can predict when will be the bottom

Basically the sentiment is very poor for oil. There won't be tremendous profit for hibiscus. But it's a growing company and there's no doubt about it
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Announcement is made. Basically 600 million of final payment for the Brunei asset. Which will generate about 150 mill for the next 15 years assuming the JV last till 2039. Now it's obvious why hibiscus is so confident of it's balance sheet
2 months ago | Report Abuse
To be honest, share price will only go up when the issued amount of shares be reduced tremendously or unexpected good news like Brent 100 be announced. As of now, we can see that management is still doing share buy back daily basis to justify their view that the share price is currently at an undervalued state. The direction of everything is right and the ball is in our court

Usually hibiscus only acquire brownfield at the right price, optimise the production, then maximise profit. I'm not sure whether Sarawak has any such brownfield for sale at the moment which is eyed by hibiscus
2 months ago | Report Abuse
If the management wants to reach their target of 50k bbd soon, definitely acquiring asset is the only option. But whether financially is feasible to do so is another story.
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Hibiscus doesn't randomly acquire blocks which might not be feasible for additional future farm in or exploration. My two cents opinion. Every move by hibiscus basically will have a future expansion plan around it's assets. And obviously hibiscus has enough of future capex to be committed till 2028.
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Traders still thinking hibiscus is an more oil and less gas company. Nvm. Let them press more. I'm buying for the future. Anyway its a matter of belief. By 2028 with a production of 50k bbld. I don't believe it won't touch RM 5
2024-09-03 08:26 | Report Abuse
Well said nazr690519a. The share price is out of our control. But the fundamentals can't be manipulated. Hibiscus has always plan ahead of time. We just need to follow their plan

Exactly ninja. The management decided for expansion than returning all profit to us. But am I sad about it? No. Bcoz the acquisition of repsol asset has proven to be deal of the century. And with the current depressed share price, it always provide us a chance to buy in. Those who keep pressing give us a chance to collect more.
2024-09-02 11:19 | Report Abuse
The purchase price is about 1.2 bill. Deduct 20 percent of down payment then it's about 950 mill. Deduct the retained profit since 2021 till now, maybe another 400 mill. Deduct again the sliding USD myr rate by 8 percent which is about 40-50 mill. So I guess acquisition might just be around 500 mill range.
2024-09-02 11:11 | Report Abuse
To be frank, I have been investing in hibiscus for a decade. From the Brent price of 100 to negative territory and back up to 130 and now 70 plus. Throughout this journey the return is not as good as other god like counters. But then we have to ask ourselves a question. Did the hibiscus management failed us before in terms of their guided production, forecast dividend, acquisition. As far as I remember, everything they promised they do make it come true. The only setback in this counter is the continuous fall of share price. But that's the consequence of expansion, as somebody knew that with the acquisition, new drilling, high capex, the company wouldn't be able to fight the market using share buy back. However as soon as hibiscus made more n more profit, the free cash flow in the coffer may finally be used to support its share price
2024-09-01 19:18 | Report Abuse
370 million for dividend? 7.5cents per share. With 80 million shares it will be about 60 million? I was wondering u keep bad mouthing hibiscus and wat is Ur intention if Ur facts and figures r wrong

The only bright point for yesterday. Today I've accumulated the largest single batch of stock in my life at 1.92. might not be the lowest for this share. But hopefully one of the lowest.
