@Mabel, yea, and its ROE is higher than many tech counters now! I only invested 1 O&G company in Bursa which is SERBADK! The management is very efficient and I loves the business model so much.

Very delicious price now, checked my acc and realised that some of my orders were matched! Eat all the way down happily, come on guys throw your serbadk shares if you doesn’t have faith with it! I need more shares at lower price! :)

Expected to be a worst QR, but doesn’t expected to be that worst. Tomorrow sure drop significantly and may continue for some days like what Krono is experiencing or even worst, because current PE is way to high...
However, the business model is ok, I will still monitor this counter and waiting to enter with much lower price..

My advice is don’t simply be a “long term investor” for companies which have no signals to turn better in short time, cut loss and move your capital to a company with better prospects will always surprise you.

@ch0805, timing to buy is an ART, better learn TA. QR will be published very soon, my advice is better wait and see the result. Although I have sold Revenue, but if there’s a great results and showing that the company is doing well to sustain and overcome the crisis, then only I will consider to buy some. Better trade extra carefully during crisis ...

BTW, don’t find excuses to explain why CIMB is disposing their shares, CIMB is no so broke to sell shares from revenue to fund the losses by borrowing to Hin Leong.
If CIMB believed this time around there will be good QR result from revenue, why they don’t wait after QR announcement only to dispose?

Why CIMB continuously reduce their shareholdings? Of course there’s something wrong with upcoming results.

According to revenue annual report:
Group’s revenue & gross profit generated from EDC terminals:
Revenue 44.1% and GP 35% in 2018;
Revenue 59.8% and GP 44.4% in 2019.

revenue & gross profit generated from Electronic transaction processing segment:
Revenue 47.3% and GP 56.4% in 2018;
Revenue 34.1% and GP 47.1% in 2019.

So do you think there were many company wanna source more unit of EDC terminals as many as previous years in Last quarter?

I expect this time around the double digit growth from ETP will be offset by significantly lower contribution by EDC segment.

In this situation, if the group’s revenue & NP doesn’t grow in last quarter, of course ppl throw the shares, because the results unmatched with the company valuation now.

I have been with Penta for years, but honestly I personally think that the price now trading at RM4.43 is overvalued. For very short term yes the shares price may goes up after correction on coming Monday. But for mid to long term, it’s obviously the revenue and profit will fall significantly due to the domino effect caused by Covid 19 pandemic.

Anyone who have read the quarterly report that published at 15 May should found that the management is not giving positive comments for near future. Also, some figures in the report have warn us.

This is a good company with great prospects, many current shareholders will still hold after Q1 result, but how many of them will still hold it for another 1 or 2 quarters if the revenue and profit falling continuously?Very interesting.

For me, I’d prefer to enter later. Just my 2 cents and this is not a buy/sell call.

Just market haven’t realised this gem, sometimes market is irrational, hold tight. 1 good example is that Gloves maker stocks was being thrown to lower price in Mar due to global stock market slump although everyone know gloves demand will definitely increase.

Run what, with Covid19 the company worth at least DOUBLE from current price at 0.7. Market will realise its value soon.

That director need pocket money also mah, 100k shares only RM7xxxx, he bought total 150k shares at 16, 19 March, now sell it at higher price now. It doesn’t affect much for his total holdings. Also, the director only hold a very small portion (0.517%) of the company total shares issued. So we can assume that his actions just to make coffee money, and may trying to frighten retailers.

Ignore shariah when you’re investing a great company like penta, those group of fund managers cannot buy their shares but other fund managers are thirst for it, Market will give the company a fair value thereafter... The company is with great future prospect: products are so nice, profit margin so good, employees inside always busy, no one want to leave the co.(job posted in jobstreet only seeking engineer...)

@Wudishijimo, I found that the value of inventory for Jun & Sept 19 was approximately 41mil, no significant increase.. Wonder when Notion started to produce for Dyson as if mass production happened in Oct, then they should have been prepared more material for the increase of order.

When Dyson started to place order from Notion?

Other than use the cash to pay dividends, Company buy back their shares from market if they feel it’s undervalued and have no other better way to generate higher ROE. *some co use that to attracts retail investors also. Haha

@Shareinvestment7, recents drop only some paper profit gone as I have withdrawn my capital in this stock with handsome profit before share split and bonus issue. After the withdrawal, I don’t even think to sell any shares, just keep the stock and wait for bargain sale happen again.

Bought at Mar’17, it’s been 1 year until now, if the company still operates nicely then what’s the reason for sell? Hahaha some more many here have take back their capital after earning few hundred % of return.
