Uchitec resale additional 398,800 treasury share between RM2.84-2.85. Together with earlier resold proceed, should total up about RM2mil cash. Hope this amount will be redistributed back to shareholder in addition to usual dividend payout.

What's the logic for this ? Total Executive Director remuneration increased by 37% y-o-y (from RM6.372mil in 2016 to RM8.77mil in 2017), but for the same period :
a. Profit Before Tax reduced by 16%
b. Dividend reduced by 26%

What makes the Exec Directors deserved higher salaries, emoluments & bonus if performance of the company is worsening ?

According to FY16 financial report, 99.2% of Uchi revenue was derived from "Touch screen advance display, high precision light measurement (optoelectronic) equipment and mix signal control system for centrifuge laboratory equipments".

Is this tax free pioneer status cover all products/services across the board or only limited to "bio-chem equipment", which the revenue contribution currently is neglect-able?

a) Excessive ESOS for staff/directors which diluted existing shareholder's interest
b) Staff/directors exercised their ESOS and disposed off their share to take profit.
c) Resold treasury share in open market instead of cancelling or giving back to existing shareholders

Start doubting what Uchi is doing, even though has being their loyal shareholder for a decade.

Instead of reselling the treasury share, isn't it rewarding existing shareholder with share dividend (from treasury share) a better option?

Relatively, current price is still long long way from its heyday.... Nonetheless, its attractive DY shall able to support further upside.

@sosfinance, not sure about this. Management and Directors should focus on growing their core business instead of market movement. If current price level is still lower than their intrinsic value then why offloading the treasury stock now and send mixed signal to the market ?

BJTOTO FY end on 30 Apr. This upcoming quarter is Q1 for new FY. Based on prior years practice, announcement should be next week

Mr Tsai increased his direct/indirect interest to 33.5%

Looks like no surprised interim dividend in Sept. Hope for higher payout in Nov/Dec

a. Cash & Cash Equivalent of about RM153mil
b. Total Debts of about RM91mil

With Q2 Free Cashflow of RM50mil (after spending RM15mil to pare down borrowing in 1st 6 months of 2017), Tongher can be soon a debt free company. What say you?

Referring to Q2 report:- Magnum has :
a. Cash & Cash Equivalent of about RM452mil.
b. Notice of Assessment from IRB of about RM477 mil (combined total, assuming worst case scenario)

With Q2 Free Cashflow of about RM137mil. Magnum should able to continue paying quarterly dividend moving forward. What say you ?

@optimus, mad dog is temporary. Don't cull all dogs due to rabies. Once the panic is over, Tongher will remain investor's best companion as long as DY is attractive.

ESOS is no longer popular in many big Co, due to share dilution and tendency for staff/management/board to pay excess obsession towards share price rather than financial performance. I personally think Uchi has too much of ESOS.
