If I remember correctly , I think some banker do hold quite a large portion of their share. Wouldn’t be surprised if they decided to expand it

I wonder will the bankers come in anytime when the price bottoms , then buy , as I know the fund managers they like shares with good dividend, then they can promise their clients certain % of returns on the fund they manage, since this counter will be giving excellent dividend soon.

I hope institutional fund manager don’t come in, or else the price will go up leaving no chance for cheap price. Because we all know how much they love dividend and it seems like big dividend is on the way

There are still payments that is yet to go into account as well, so next quarter should be fantastic as well, since no point keeping so much cash, another big dividend is highly possible year end , as per norm.

Tomorrow/next week price should start going up, unless too much ppl take this chance to dump 🙄 then it might dip again like last land sale.
Anyway I’m for medium-long term for this counter, might not find a good chance to buy in again at my old price , so I’m keeping it for now .

I think so too, just look at yesterday’s closing session bidding, very obvious someone downplaying the market, and IMO recently definitely there is ppl keep buying at underpriced value that is under 3.7, press done and buy.

Nevertheless, I don’t put much hope into chances of any dividend mid year, year end of course yes.
However the bottom price previously is about 3.3-3.35, with new land sale , looking at the trend + amount of buyer and seller everyday,
I believe the new bottom price now is 3.55-3.6, unless if there is another long period of inactivity then maybe 3.45-3.55.

If there is any stimuli then it might wake up and fly, comparatively, if it goes any lower, maybe time to stock up on some.

Base on the track record, I guess it’s safe to assume dividend at first and last quarter of the year, however, due to multiple extraordinary gain since last year, who knows if they will break the norm . Even if they didn’t, with Quarterly report out, we will know balance sheet more clearly which clearly should be good. Hope for surprises 😀

Yea, good dividend track record, housing project coming soon also, if market responded well which many think it will due to its location and its long standing construction quality, even before sales revenue report out the share might respond to it.

Price went down to 3.74 now even with new land sale, my guess is.
Those shareholder with weaker holding power, which bought it at high price previously, sees an “exit” and faster sell off, which caused the sharp dip.
Maybe wait until they finish selling, then someone will absorb those low prices, and then start jack it up again to its appropriate post land sale price which from past sales it’s about +20-50cent from pre-sale price .

Watching afternoon market, it slowed down now, with buyer stronger than seller. Good sign.

Price seems to dropped by some, but holding in range, I think it might trade in 3.75-3.85 for time being in near future. Not sure why is the hike, maybe either there’s big player doing it, or due to confidence in upcoming housing project + Quarterly report.

Yea , past few days from trading volume and amount looks like someone is pushing it up slowly, and maybe that started the engine , today it looks like the trend might continue with higher volume, but it seems like start to losing momentum a little 😧

Yea it might be good if they did the share buy back, larger cake portion for everyone, but I just don’t see the reason why would they do it at this time, especially when the company is in good direction, I mean they can, but they don’t have to, so I doubt it could happen, although I wished it to happen lol.

The majority of the shares are already in the hands of the company and related major parties, leaving not much share in the market, correct me if I’m wrong, but maybe not that wise to reduce general market’s share anymore, they are required to maintain minimum 25% general market share

Sometimes I wonder does some of the small investor know that the land disposal sale announcement dated on 14/5/24 is referring to previous sale and it’s NOT a new sale or not 🤔
And share buy back is a routine done yearly and the company never buy back any share for past many years.

Then maybe some players take this time to push up the price , then dump🤔

Yep, that is why although previously many glove company showing signs of recovery, I’m not going in, especially after the previous balloon pop 😬 although I’m not affected but it looks really miserable. I mainly focus on JB property , utility resolves around renewable energy, and semi con as u suggested

Yea, I missed the top glove boat , saw the recovery of it and it was advised by analysts to buy as well, but I was worried , especially after the bad post covid track record 😮‍💨
Anyway it should recover and remain strong , the physical sales should be good, as those that stock up the gloves before, either depleted their stock or the current stock is expiring.

Yes, definitely good profit from the project, I tink goverment is trying to curb the speculation of price hike around property projects surrounding the MOU with SG, not sure will they be successful or not.

Anyway it’s in the red now, 3.58 and dropping, not all green, the party that did the pushing ran out of strength maybe 😉

I might be very wrong, but my opinion is… maybe correction period is forcefully ended by someone playing the market to dump again, likely the same group of ppl that tries to jack up the price when it’s very low but not very successful at it, as the market is inactive, then waited for this “share buy back” thing and do it again at larger scale.
For seasoned investor they will know this is an annual thing that companies usually do, I checked the track record, past few year no record of buyback.

Since QR is about 1.5 months away, there might be gradual increase in price, but not this much in one go unless it is purposely done, anyway looking at how it is, might be unlikely it will go back to 3.3x , might steadily go down and stabilize at around 3.45-3.55 perhaps? Can only speculate

I do agree with company worth much more than this, but at the same time this hike is not very usual for this counter without stimuli,
The resistant price prediction is spot on I tink, pretty good guess, need time to go there I guess.

As usual, my opinion is, hitch the ride if u can, but don’t be hot headed, becareful.

The price hike from 3.33 to 3.43 now, logically should have more volume , but the volume is so low. My personal opinion is as we speculate previously, there is someone trying to push up and sell. Let’s see how long this can continue, the volume doenst seems to justify the hike for this particular counter 🤔

I agree with u, but as great as it can be and undervalued, I guess human sentiments and psychology plays a strong role here. The index hit 1600 today with many other good performing active shares,

So ppl might as well opt to go to those shares for quick profit rather than stay here and wait for year end dividend period.
Undeniably good counter but it is also least active and is in sleeping period now.

The person that tries to sell off large amount maybe wants to go other counter as well , can only speculate

In my opinion if u bought it at 3.5 or above, instead of sell and making a loss, just hold until next dividend time, sure go up again . You can regret once but don’t regret twice.

Anyway it’s a rather safe counter, since there is still balance cash money from land sale , and upcoming projects, so the dividend etc year end gonna look good, similar to the one announced in March . So get at good low price(instead of last minute only go in), hold , wait for it to fly again.

Yea agree with u, I guess many saw the potential and good price to buy now, so much buyer now at the current price and so little seller , I guess this is really weeding out shareholder with less holding power, and there are many who saw the potential and continuously absorbing at current price

lol almost half an hour passed by and no deals made yet on this stock, I guess this stock really went into sleep mode already . Which is a good time to buy at discounted price 3.4-3.7 l(IMO) and keep, since there is still huge chunk of cash from land sale and upcoming project near RTS . Surely in a few month when the reports are out, it’s gonna fly sky high again

Yea, but market also not as fantastic like the other day. I hope it won’t drop past 3.5 , just now I watched the trend, yesterday there is a player with substantial amount of stock dumped them near 3.7 price point, today similarity at around 3.6x price point. Below what the market is calling for at that point for fast sale.

Anyway This counter is known to goes to sleep and wake up fierce 😂
Can only speculate … speculate … anyway the fundamentals should support it next time it goes out of hiatus , not too much worry here

Yep agree with u, somemore there should be leftover land nearby where they can lock more deals in, then they can centralize facilities and infrastructures, then the spillovers from the developments will raise the surrounding land value as well.
In an article somewhere, I believe I read that Crescendo have some say to those basic infra as well.

Totally agreed. As u said, PohKong is a good choice for gold, and Gooi family have excellent record in sharing profits unlike some other company

gold price is quite lucrative for now and in near future, quite resistant to any calamity actually, diversify Some in property, gold, oil, energy, consumable, tech, and medical would be good.

Yep, diverse portfolio is very importent to minimize risk. Buy YTL and gain some profit while waiting next catalyst from crescendo which might take time, as I tink their housing project need time for revenue report to come in as well. As for those dividends they usually do it end of the year also. Ample time to plan.

Yep I agree with u, very good company , I don’t tink it will drop below 3.5 for now, and will trade within 3.5-3.8 for now. Might have steady decline in trading value while waiting for next catalyst, just like how it is now, maybe some are selling Crescendo to buy YTL? 😂

I agree with you on most part especially about the market enter correction/adjustment period after the sharp hike , where it dropped but not as much. If based on the previous 3.93 hike, it didn’t dip the very same day too, it dipped after 10/11am the next day, similar pattern.

I discussed this with my investment manager, he ask me to me really careful about it, he say it does looks like the works of big player jacking up and dumping stocks but it didn’t drop as much as the fundamentals supported it(I followed be tracker whole day and the dealings look exactly like the pattern during 3.93 previously)
and also the market is quite strong in general unlike the times during 3.93 which gave me a painful lesson. Or it could be some big player or one of the director making some small coffee water money? Or they wanted to stimulate the market after the -18 cent, while earning some pocket change, then let it drop back abit but not as much? Can only speculate 🤷🏼‍♂️ no idea, just being careful, learned hard lesson that this counter is not all sunshine and UP UP UP despite all the discounts and good news, very susceptible to manipulation.

I do tink the price might hold around this price for now, as the share is really good and have >rm4 potential, and very likely with some catalyst in future it will break 4.2. However while waiting for catalyst (nobody knows when it’s gonna be, maybe some short term investor will move to a different counter for now ,
All I’m saying is just know our goals and trade carefully, don’t let all the hypes get to us easily and make hotheaded rash decision. just my humble opinion.

It’s a dip as the big player leave the game after get dividend and dump their stocks. however since market looking not too bad now, the dip wasn’t as severe the previous round of 3.93. Which dipped more than 30 cent.
Well not sure about Monday tho.

I tink the everyone here knows the company is trading at a huge stock price discount, that is for sure. However it’s an undeniable truth that majority of stocks is in the hands of few. Making it having the potential of being extremely volatile. Just look at the trading volume each day, yesterday when it rise to 3.9 it’s trading more than 1 million, today is only 1/3 of the volume .
The counter may not be as active if without catalyst and stimuli even if it’s a discount counter.

Again I’m not saying it’s a bad counter, it’s a really good one, just try to be careful not to be carried away when there is extreme fast paced price hike as behind it could be someone purposely jacking up the price , sell then get the cash and target next other counter. I tink we all know there is such player/investment bodies around.

Yea, nobody knows how war gonna turn up, those country have long history of feud and Unresolved sentiments. Although the effect to our local BME is not as much, but undeniably we have seen its effect.
I just saw the news about the nuclear as well, it’s doubtful and uncertain but can never be too careful.

Stock having obvious price gain today even it’s after ex-date, this looks like scenario from previously when it went 3.93 and took and huge dip after that. Some big players might be at work. Watch out bro , hitch the ride and get out, very bullish the stock now even if the PE ratio is good and is on discount mode.

Most property are in the red, and the war has been going on roller coaster so far, nobody knows how it’s gonna turn out exactly.

Just my 50 cent, I might be wrong tho, but never hurt to be too careful with hard earned money. Cheers 🍻
