Now the only major fundamental supporting AA is the total decline of MAS.

You people should contain your joy when the price goes up if you want it to continue going up. If syndicates monitor this site and they see you people's joy they will know there are still weak hands holding AA and continue to sell down again.

There can only be 1 reason why today's AA behave as such.
There is only 1 group of syndicate.
And this syndicate is shaking out weak hands.

After seeing MAS' and Malindo's incidents, if Tony is a smart business guy, he should give a public announcement on improving/upgrading AA's quality control to the next level to avoid similar incidents. Then customers of MAS and Malindo will strongly consider AA and eventually lead to boosting higher revenue.

At least if I were the CEO of AA, I would take such rare opportunity to really make AA's reputation shine to the next level.

Maybe the first news was to tempt traders to buy at 2.55 only to sell all the way down to 2,44 and then this news of likelihood to cancel buyback, tempting traders to sell at 2.44-46 before continuing with the rally. I suspect the price may continue to rally until AA finally discloses that it intent to continue with the buyback plan. Manipulation mah. Already stale tactic.
