Haha...the proposal sent to Bursa already stated why SCR is done, look at item 3 (rationale for the proposed scr). They are going to undertake a major replanting exercise on their oil palm areas which will affect their financial report negatively . Don't expect the price to go up

Current SCR having premium of 1.65 / 0.555...that's 3x that of CCB's 2.20 / 1.29. Looking at current market condition and price drop of CCB due to the unsuccessful deal, only foolish and greedy shareholders would not want the SCR.

The SCR is going to take awhile, at most 6 months. But with current price of 1.30~1.32, it's going to be about 25% upside if it goes through.

Buy from market need $$$$. SCR uses company cash. And company can take loan.
