Some clowns mentioned this stock has "strong institutional support"...where? Can't see them in their shareholders list. This just a stock manipulated by 1-2 brokers with their house traders and retail clients. Can smell trouble ...

CIMB was the very 1st promoter of this stock and had close relationship the people at Heveaboard. Why they suddenly ceased their coverage on the stock in March? They gave lack of coverage resources as reason. Rubbish. Is more than that.

Fresh negative allegations (or facts) on the way. Unless you are the insiders or the stock operator, otherwise better stay clear. Not only burn your hard earned $ but may end you having kopi with the authorities. Dishonest & rubbish.

As I mentioned b4, the major shareholders just keep telling market about REIT listing of their property assets. They just want mkt to push the share price up. Rubbish, don't get con, friends
2017-06-06 22:09 | Report Abuse
Their REIT plan will never materialize. 1. They not a GLC, 2. Assets quality & size poor, 3. Negative exp of industrial REITs across the Causeway tell u the picture. Is very irresponsible of the management for keep telling the market REIT intact/comimg.

Mgt badly advised by inv bankers simply dying for biz. Doing a REIT on their warehouses sucks. Look at land-scarce Singapore...their listed REIT (industrial) are dying...REITs in Msia will never take off like Singapore.

Dun be mad lah. (Bloomberg) -Seagate Technology expanded plans to cut jobs to 14%t of the workforce, seeking to reduce costs to weather a prolonged slump in demand. Component makers are suffering through a fifth consecutive annual decline in all shipments. More bad news for technology manufacturers...Avoid VS (or dump if you have shares in them).

Aiya, this jump in share price overdone. The REIT idea is not new and industrial REIT dun sell. Co debt is heavy and capital structure poor. Brexit may slow trade volume which will mean slowdown in its logistics services incl. warehousing.

Net growth was from low base and fx gain. No big deal. Such EMS companies can only trade <10x fwd P/E or EV/EBITDA <6x. Fund managers ve shunned away from EMS companies as biz are cyclical and of little value-add. EMS companies generally not in vogue since the barrage of buyouts by PE funds in late 2000s over in Spore market. Many of those were of better quality (low vol high mix biz) and larger mkt cap than VS. So, I think VS is fully-valued or even over-valued.
2015-09-30 14:50 | Report Abuse
Pity the management still not separating its recognizably different business units. Without such corporate exercise, the stock will continue to trade at a discount to market P/E.

Buy!? Sell or short lah !...Gloves are seriously over-valued from 22x for Top Glove to 33x for Hartelga...sheer madness! Global giants eg Ansell, Semperit AG (with own brands) are only on low teens P/Es. Industry fundamentals and valuation are @ ultra-peak...only way is downward adjustment. Gloves valuation deserve no more than teen forward P/Es.

Like most O&G plays, this is dead. Its weak and project-driven biz model means it is likely to report losses. Avoid/Sell.
2015-09-21 21:41 | Report Abuse
Already at 14-16x forward earnings, it is trading at slight premium to market P/Es. With poor stock liquidity, more downward risks ahead. No point buy nor accumulate with likely cut in dividends.
