Accumulated losses around 900m in their balance sheet.
Share capital is 1500m, if proposed capital reduction of 70% of share capital will eliminate their accumulated losses and also won’t fall into PN17.

I expect the price to be closer to 20sen by end of july. More than 500 million new shares will list on 27/7 with subscription price 17.5sen. Selling pressure is expected. However, 20sen is a good entry price.

Largest shareholder holding 32% is Aurora Mulia Sdn Bhd owned by Syed Mokhtar

Second largest shareholder holding 20% is JAG capital owned by Johari who bought early of 2021. Johari and Syed Mokhtar are old friends.

Third largest shareholder Morgan Stanley with 12% disposing their stakes recently

MS selling pressure at 60sen and above, the last selling price was 60sen at 26/4
insiders bought from panic selling at 52-55sen. Today they are using small volume to push up the share price to 64sen. Easy money earned by insider.

Wowshop gross profit margin is above 30%, i believe their second quarter results will surprise us.

Based on FY2020, Wow-shop contributed RM300m revenue. And they are still growing fast.

EPF 应该是要等media业绩稳定，才会重新开始买入。到时候就算media股价RM2，EPF还是会买入的

The business units that shined in FY20 were mainly Media Prima’s digital and home shopping businesses.

The group’s digital media arm, REV Media Group recorded a FY20 net profit of RM10.8 million versus RM1.7 million a year ago.

Meanwhile, Media Prima’s home shopping unit recorded its first profit since its inception in 2016, posting FY20 net profit of RM10.2 million from a net loss of RM10.6 million a year earlier. Home shopping registered a 33% increase in revenue to RM308.9 million for FY20 from RM232.2 million a year earlier.

EPF sold all the 11% shareholding at 11sen-15sen on April 2020. Who is the buyer to absorb all the share? I bought some at 13-15sen. I believe those fund manager will buy back the share after media go back RM1/RM2

Media prima top 30 shareholders holding 80% of shares. Only 20% of issued share trading in market. Once they announced better and better quarterly results, i believe those EPF, PNB, LTH, and funds will come back to buy back the share. Based on historical data, Media prima will get extra 50-100m revenue / 30-50m profit in Malaysian general election year.

The first retrenchment of 543 staff cost 44m at 12/3/2020 will help the company save 53m per annum.
Second retrenchment of 300 staff cost 33m at 31/7/2020 will help the company save 29m per annum.

Media go up with huge buying volume, however today going down with small volume.
Hopefully QR release by friday. EPS should be 2-3sen. Although FY2020 still net loss, i believe FY2021 whole year EPS will be 10sen

Buyer queue always so less, but the buyer straight away makan all the huge seller queue.
Look at the media annual report, changes of top 30 shareholders since 2018 to 2020 then you will know the reason

Because Urusharta( Lembaga Tabung Haji) selling since 1.60 to 1.20 (8% of ijm share issued)
Now they sold out almost all the share held. I believe IJM will rise back soon.

hey guys, since you can hold media when the price at bottom, remember don’t sell too fast when the price is start moving up. I believe media will give the long term investor steady return.

buy at 15sen, set cut lose at 12sen. Maximum lose 3sen. But if go up, easily earn 5sen and above.
But must have holding power. Not advised for those T+3 player

i start bought from highest 21sen until lowest 12.5sen
Keep on average down. If drop more, just buy more. Value for money.
