One has to know what good company to buy before he/she practise DCA. Otherwise, one would only keep losing money by using the DCA formula. Perhaps cutting loss is better than DCA. I mean, if one has bought a wrong stock!

It is not easy to be an experienced and skilled player/investor in our Malaysian share market. The reason, I am very sure, all of us know and needless for me to repeat here. What more to be a Sifu who is willing to create a forum thread here and help you out, out of his sincerity, selfless and sheer kindness! So, please, even if you do not respect him, at least please do us all a favour and do not disrespect your own self here.

There is a Chinese saying that goes, "A minute on the stage but 10 years' practice on the back stage"! If you want to be a Sifu too, then you must work hard too to become one. One is not born to be an expert because it involves lots of hard work, effort, time, experience, failures and patience to reach one's position.

You must have omitted in practising the "cut loss" rule, LimituPrince! As I have said earlier, cut loss is one of the most important golden rule in investing. It is very easy to buy any stock of your choice (or follow other people) but to be able to cut loss of it when it turns ugly, most people would forget this (very important) rule. So, before you shout at the other person, why don't you reminisce on what you did not do at that time with Orion, ok!

Let me ask you just one question, have you so far encounter anyone at all outside of this forum who is wiling to help you, advise you, teach you, how to survive in the market? Think again!

Yes, I totally agree with Sifu Michael about the Bitcoin! Please do not buy it at such a high price! It is very dangerous to play fake money like Bitcoin especially when it is now at $49,000, ok! Do not be a fool to throw your money to them so easily!

Aiyoh, Warren, of course-lah, ask him about what he intends to do with this company since he has bought so many shares lately! Is it about private takeover or whatever? He is your classmate, so it should be easier for you to get the direct answers. Thanks @missingpuzzles! no worries. I have sold 70% of my Permaju as of today. is a lesson to learn and is not the end of the world. for sure, I will come back stronger and wiser in the coming days. learn from mistake as a newcomer.

You are absolutely right, Sifu Michael! About the stocks which are based in Penang and most of them are riding the bull run now. Like MI and Vitrox. That day, I happen to read news of Vitrox's development and the next few days, the share skyrocketed so beautifully. The other one which caught my attention was Ameulus and it was based in Penang. In fact, I first entered the market by buying this stock, twice gaining only a small profit last year. If I had knew that this stock would gone up to 100% or 200%, I would not have sold my stock (EP) 37 cents. Hahahaha! The same with Hwa Tai - I bought at 37 cents too last November and if I had holding power like James the millionaire, Mabel the big meow and you, of course, (haiz)....

Yes, yes, I have also heard that the economy shall be opening soon. How soon it is, I have no idea! Some people even said, this month we shall be able to sit at the coffee shop or cafe or restaurant to eat, like we used to be. Hahaha! But really, the covid cases are still so high.... (oh dear)

Wow, I have checked from the chart about this Pineapple stock and you were right, Philip02! The chart looks good and its signal is showing upwards. I assume it will revisit its previous high of RM1.41 again. I will buy some too after selling one of my stocks in the near future. Thank you for your good recommendation too!

Refer your Pineapple director bought 1 mill share outside close period RM 1.10 and strong support at RM1.10 for 1 month plus. Is there some good news on this counter its coming quarter will be very profitable or something brewing yet finish uptrend push on this small cap. Pineapple is also subsidiary of Chuan Huat Resources. I bought some Pineapple too.

Yes, just take this as a hard lesson then! Wise investors always say, NEVER PUT ALL YOUR EGGS INTO ONE BASKET! If that basket accidentally falls down onto the floor, all the eggs needless to say, would be broken. The same meaning goes to the market. This is why you must spread out your risk by DIVERSIFICATION of your stocks. 2 or 3 stocks may go down but the other 2 or 3 may go up!

Wanna ask you something - why is that KGB-WB is moving faster than the mother itself? The movement has started these few days already. How much should I sell the son and mother? I have 4.5k units (mother) and 1.5k units (son).

Oh dear, UltraDC, you have put in too much money into Permaju. Never do that again. The reason is because if it turns ugly (like now what you are facing), then your loss would be huge!

One golden rule of investing is to diversify your investments! And do not buy too much in a stock too. Sifu Michael has taught us all not to average down too much because it will tighten your cashflow. Unless of course if you are a billionaire, like Philip (No. 1) Hahaha! Hope you understand what I am saying now!

No amount of money is too small for us to play in the market, my dear! As long as we buy the correct (unboom) stocks, then they will give us at least some profit, instead of losing our capital to the sharks or operators. Scanwolf, yes, it caught my attention when I least looked at it! I have to say, this stock really shocked people by shaking and shaking a few times before moving its journey upwards! If I were still holding it at that time, I would also got panic too and jumped off the boat, just like other people, like in Titanic! Hahaha! Really a rocky stock, scaring fear out of people! But a good experience indeed, to say the least!

Yes, sir! I have done a donation last month and tomorrow, will be making a donation to the same caretaker too! They used to have 2 regular donators (Lion's Club) and another rich man in my town, taking care of the retarded children and old people. But ever since last year's MCO, both of them had retreated and the caretaker was forced to ask for help through word of mouth spreading around. Pity them!

You are right, Sifu Michael! The stray dog which my family helped feed it, do return the favour to us. Do you know how? She (a female) stayed awake during the night to help watch out for thieves throughout the night so that we can sleep soundly and safely. On my God, she is so amazing and unbelievable and I only knew about this matter this morning from my sister-in-law! God really do give something back to you when you least expected it! We had kept her for 2 years plus now and she has grown from a thin pale-looking dog into a very healthy (liceless) fat one with long furry hairs. Hahaha! So adorable! Luckily, my sister-in-law has experience in taking care of dogs before, so it's "sap sap sui" for her! In fact, she's a dog-crazy lover!

A very good example is the most recent stock, Artroniq! As you mentioned earlier that Atroniq has turned into a quality stock, I did noticed earlier too that it has gone up after you have recommend it at 48 cents to see2sea! And it did go up till about 56 cents before turning backwards, which no one in their absolute conscious mind, know that it can go heading south till 28 cents. Only lately, did it bounce back up after such a long time, down under. Just imagine, if one were to buy this one at 48 cents earlier and did not cut loss on it, Artroniq can go back up to its 48 cents level once again. Of course, for some stocks, it may or may not go back up to its previous level. This is what you have tried to explain to the rest of the investors here!

For this Artroniq, one is in real luck to be able to sell it off in such a short time (3 months), to gain back almost all or 90% of his/her capital. And he/she do not have to wait for a year or two or even three years to gain back most of the capital.

You are absolutely right, Sifu Michael! But sometimes, I have to admit myself that I may not missed the moment to cut loss whenever the storm hits hard! When the market becomes suddenly unstable, one can really be taken aback by the cruel downside and he/she can become panic all of a sudden. This is why emotions can really affect a wise judgement!

Looks like I gonna master this well, in order to survive the rough sea. Otherwise, I would keep continue losing money to the market in the end. I can feel that I may be in the same situation as see2sea!

You are absolutely right too that sometimes a stock falls down to trick us all, before it continues its upward journey! Yes, the chart is very important and nowadays, I try to monitor the chart and also to cut loss on the declining stocks. One can never be too sure until the time comes (if it turns ugly, I mean). As I have mentioned earlier, NEVER underestimate the importance of cutting loss! For some investors, they are too naive and still keeping the losing stocks (perhaps) due to their inexperience. I am in their shoes too, before! They are not wrong neither, because they do not know their mistake, until much much later, which for some, it may too late to CL and owning paper loss instead. Anyway, once paper loss is here, well, as you have also taught us all, the only way to try to gain back the capital is to wait patiently for longer time till the stock rises back to one's capital. No choice, loh!

Yes, yes, yes, I totally agree with you on this too, since the market has been almost in whole red sea these few days! I realized too that sometimes for some stocks which you have recommended, they do have double upwards! But of course, once sold off, never look back on it. Otherwise, one may lose back what one has just gained. Hahaha!

I have also bought KGB earlier and I see that it is rising now. What is the TP for this stock? Can it pass RM 1.70?

I can see that BSL Corp. is going up today. Why is it so? I thought that we have to wait till the take-over exercise to be completed first before they would release the price from their grip. Mind to explain on this?

I did so, on my own self because I was too angry and mad at myself for buying so much of rubbish and lousy stocks last year when I starting playing. Oh yes, I have learnt the hard way but over all, it was a good experience to learn the tricks of the market. One is never too old to learn new things each new day!

I am very sure that you can definitely gain back all your losses one day (be patient) and time will prove itself as long as you are still around, in the market.

Another thing, NEVER underestimate the important rule of cutting loss (10%) whenever the stock turns ugly and reaches your capital!
