Good to see PUC gaining traction again, when it goes down everybody calls it dead stock and when it goes up everyone saying goreng goreng. There are definitely people in this forum that act with good intentions, at the end of the day we invest in the stock we believe in with future growth so if you don't think so stop hating on a stock for no reason. If trading has taught me anything the people saying its dead stock most likely accumulated low and selling it back when it is up.

Impairment loss - doubtful debt was the reason for the loss.
Revenue was 43m compared to previous period of 25.8M. Around 1.1M if you remove the impairment loss. Not a bad result just unfortunate there were doubtful debt.
Doesn't change the fact the PW deal will boost this profit up end of this year to 20M minimum is really good.

Hopefully worth 40 when E wallet comes out and PW deal is approved.

End of year financials should be good with PW profits. This quarter same same.

Will be accumulating a little bit more if it hits under .265.
Still cheap with everything coming up.

SP hit .35 when PW was announced, when PW comes through and any other news like e-wallet I would hope that SP will hit .40.
Still good to buy imo

I would assume that they will be helping WeChat by connecting them with merchants firstly. They could get commission or some form of revenue for this, that is why I think Bersian company with the POS clients JV is a strategic move.
I agree E-Wallet in presto will help the bottom line but I believe on a bigger sale if you can get a JV with Tencent and have some form of revenue scheme with them to help them expand in Malaysia will have better revenue potential.
I think CCC wants ewallet in PW as well from an article I read before.

Limit up!!!
In my opinion nothing has changed, investors got nervous and sold at a loss because some big whales started selling their stocks in which they probably bought at .21 back in the previous run up.
Theres so much potential to come I am hoping Wechat isn't just Presto e wallet but the franchise/JV with PUC like Alipay and the bank......
IF Alipay had to do a JV with a Malaysian company to help with the platform in my opinion Wechat will follow the same path.
Tencent needs a local partner who understand the market to help them implement Wechat pay.
LIMIT UP. Hahaha

.26 close is more realistic, hopefully so.
Only a matter of time till people realise PW is the real deal.

Warrants are not an expense, as mentioned above profit is Revenue - Expense
Warrants are usually treated as part of equity similar to a call option?
Please elaborate how a warrant can lower your profits.

Great article and good find Samiar, a lot of investors just follow the herd and sell at a loss.
Once PW was announced PUC automatically became a company with exciting future growth.
We have to remember there was an article stating how other camera companies wanted to buy PW at 400m RM but CCC valued it at 1 bil.
Hold tight and wait for what CCC has planned.

Great news, PW is only going to get bigger and bigger. Buying 33% of PW at such a bargain price is just going to give PUC a massive new profit stream. Can't wait for the purchase to be finalised.

I think the rebound is at .23 but if it gets lower than I will buy some more.

I wouldn't mind the same Ang Pao as you too!
Hopefully Wechat is true because if so it will really back up assumptions about their business goals.

Here is my train of thought after really thinking about how all the pieces will work.
PUC has recently teamed up with Bersian who has 3000 merchants using their POS systems in Malaysia.
PUC has just launched Presto and we all know there will be an E-Wallet attached to Presto coming out soon this is confirmed.
However I believe this EWallet will be used in two possible ways here. One is for Presto users to receive their cash back through the e-wallet so they can spend it as their own money. However in my opinion I also think the E-Wallet will be used as a digital wallet like Alipay so people can use it at shopping stores/retail stores. Now by teaming up with Bersian there are 3000 stores already that PUC can tap into to encourage them to use PUC new Ewallet so allowing customers to start paying using PUC e-wallet. This will happen if Tencent JV is true.
I think Presto will start to use the Bersian clients to get onto Presto to sell their products as well.
PUC will return the favour by using their advertising side to help promote them so it is a great JV.
This is all in my opinion but I believe this could be a great business model for PUC.
MrFundamentals out. Have a good night.

It is a growing company we shouldn't be expecting results immediately, all companies take time to grow and develop.
Agree with Momofuku, lets wait and see their e-wallet and whether they have Tencent or not which is coming in the next two months. Also wait to see the PW deal to go through (April). A lot of assumptions but thats stocks you can only buy on speculation.

lol why do people come into a stock to down play it then promote their own? Keep this forum to PUC please don't go bashing a stock if you don't have a good reason to. Good luck with your stock this Friday.

Should sit around .21-.22 and will start to rebound when the first quarter ends with anticipation of e-wallet then PW deal.

It is a business that will generate profit so its hard to say a stock is game over... Price will reflect the profits and business opportunities, every stock goes through correction and volatility especially a penny.

For those that buy long term in a penny stock this won't matter, you would have bought for the PW profits, the ewallet which could be Wechat and the knowledge of the CEO to make a tech company succeed.
Personally I think long term this company still has great potential lets just hope the sp is stable based on these facts.

Market correction, when PW deal comes through the profit will increase 4 fold. 6-12 month play here.
Fingers cross Wechat is on the table with the same JV like Public bank and Alipay to help develop their platform.

Agreed with BonZema72
PUC has the backing of a great CEO who has had a good track record in PW which is a tech company.
WeChat has been mentioned a lot on this forum, if this it to be true there are 20m WeChat users already in Malaysia. If they can team up with WeChat then they will have a solid database to help with the E-Wallet and the Presto app.
The biggest selling point is PW which PUC will have 33% ownership with assurance from CCC that the profits will be at least 14.8m for 2018 and 20.5m by FY19. This will straight away boost up the profits in PUC which is great considering PUC had net profits of 2.67M in 2016FY. Quite a nice boost for PUC.
I also believe if PW was to ever list then then PUC will have just bought PW for a big discount considering a while ago CCC said he estimated the target value of PW to be RM4.2 Billion if he was to list. The valuation is a bit high in my opinion but even if the value for PW was RM 500M PUC just bought 33% of that for RM 52.8M.....
I like the new CEO who has a good track record and if the rumours of Wechat are true plus with the PW acquisition PUC has a great future ahead.
Invest at your own risk, do your own research but I am in for the long journey.

Good to see PUC has the right to appoint the CEO for 11 Street, great news. I would assume this isn't the only company the new E-commerce unit will be buying or having JV with. IMO this is only the start of PUC entering the ecommerce space.
When the PW deal gets done PUC will have solid revenue each year too. Great long term company.
