China has offered to purchase more semi-conductors frm the US to offset the trade surplus. This alone is indicating that 2nd largest economic superpower is ready to negotiates. Hopefully, this will turn the tide before thing get from bad to worst.

The recent drop was due to the US move to increase tariff on imports and that may triggers China to get into a tradewar. Among many others, companies like Boeing and Apple Inc are currently enjoying their business trade with China may be the first few that will suffered due to Trump's new policy. That has caused many investors to disposed companies share that have high affiliation with China's trade market, thus bringing down DJIA.

This is just going to be temporary as US will never goes into war with China as they have too much to loose over this.

Good advice, Lim. Personally, I think BINACOM is holding up pretty well despite a 50pts drop in FBM KLCI within 3 hours.

For a sell down of close to 10 million units within 3 hrs, L&G is holding up pretty well. I guess you have a point there Tan.

Judging frm the weakening price support @ RM 0.205 tier, I don't think the company is going to do anything since L&G has just started launching their new projects and significant return can only be seen in about a year or more. Payment can only be collected from property buyers via progressive claims. Hence, during the initial construction stage (land clearance + hoarding work + foundation) that will takes at least 4 months, claim during this stage is insignificant.

Furthermore, L&G's cash flow is not doing well. It is not very convincing and any price pushing may not sustain.

Bursa Malaysia was spooked by the falls of DJIA with more than 600pts on last Friday.

Perhaps someone can enlightened us on how does L&G cash flow falls into the negative region during the 1st qtr or the year before the purchase of 4 Mayland companies in the 2nd qtr. Furthermore, the purchase of the landbank companies is via right issue and not from their own pocket, and still, it cast LG cashflow into the negative region?

Having said that, the launching of new projects by L&G of RM 710 million is based on GDV. The total GDV is not based on one but a collective GDV of numerous projects that has been scheduled to be launched BEFORE the end of 31st March 2018. Not all of the projects have been launched till today. Furthermore, GDV and cost of construction is NOT the same. :)

The purchase of the 4 ML companies with land bank was done using "additional" fund that was brought in via right issue @ RM 402 million in the 2nd qtr, 2017. However, the company cashflow has already fallen into the -ve region starting 1st qtr of 2017.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the further drop in price (that is happening as of now) in near future. I am expecting a price drop below RM 0.20. To all of the bargain hunters out there, happy hunting.

Based on WSJ database on L&G, the company cash flow for the FY2017 (up to 3rd qtr) is in the negative region. That means, the company is operating on loan to maintain a positive EPS. Hence, I foresee the current price is unsustainable. Braised yourself, investors.

A total of 58 million units were traded on the same day when KAB hits the all time high price of RM 0.325 for 3 trading days (3rd, 5th & 8th Jan). KAB price has started to climb since 11th Dec, 2017, from RM 0.25. The sudden surge in the number of investors buying at a premium price of between RM 0.300 and RM 0.325 will become resistance.

Naturally, these retailers will be pressured to sell off their units at a lower price while institutional investors will starts collecting the units. When KAB units were transacted below RM 0.30, a total of 63 million units were transacted from 12th Jan, 2018 till yesterday, 30th Jan, 2018 (in 13 trading days).

Do compare the total units transacted at a premium of RM 0.30 or higher, is almost at par with the total units transacted below RM 0.30. I would say KAB is ready to make another push after today. The best price to enter would be RM 0.27 (20% discount from an all time high price). If the 4th qtr result is good (announcement to be made in Feb, 2018), it will provides KAB the momentum to go higher.

James, only 2 million units are transacted, and NOT 2 million x 3. You may have overlooked the details on all of the 3 announcements. You will find that all 3 announcements shared the same number of units after the acquisition.

Based on the on going trend, it looks like the counter is heading nowhere but south. The 3rd qtr result will be out in February, and if there is no significant changes in price after the announcement, I foresee many will dumped their shares by then.

Viz has a total of 3,538 mil shares trading at RM 0.175 as of yesterday and the newly proposed units has a total of 407 mil shares issued at RM 0.165.

If you take [(3,538 x 0.175) + (407 x 0.165)]/(3,538+407), you will have RM 0.174. The price difference is insignificant. Nevertheless, there will be unsuspecting investors who will sell their share as of tomorrow thinking otherwise.

The private placement with the new 406.71 million shares, will be offered at an indicative price of 16.5 sen per share. That means, the current trading price will be hardly affected. Still, there will always be those who are not aware of the situation, will start selling by tomorrow.

VIZ is basically a good company with healthy p&l report and is trading at only 1.58x its book value. It has promising future and I am waiting for the price to comes down too! :)

Nick, the additional listing is to announced the launch of ESOS (share issuance scheme) which will dilutes the VIZ's EPS. That will makes VIZ's share less favorable and thus pushing down the price.

There was a total volume traded at approx 4.6 mil lots (excluding yesterday's trading volume) during the surge since 5th January, 2018 with very little profit taking till yesterday.

As of yesterday, only 1.7 mil lots were traded and VIZ is trading at a crawl of 180k lots as of this morning. I reckon VIZ price will still goes south, estimated at RM 0.165 at minimum as majority investors are still reluctant to deal at a lower price. Only time will wear them out. I foresee VIZ will have very little activities for the rest of the week.

WONG (7050) experienced the same thing too as of this mth. WONG P&L made a profit of 20x for their final quarter and their share price is heading south too. Funny but true.

For those who have bought at a premium price, I was hoping Crazy11223 is right about his prediction. For those who are able to view the best of 5 prices would know it is a tall order for VIZ to fetch such price before the end of the week.
