I was an ex staff there... Tan Sri himself is very healthy, he said he has never fall sick for almost 10 years. And he himself is working everyday. That is why he wants his staff to be as healthy as him.

And another thing, staff are entitled for 16 days of sick leave upon joining and will increase based on years of service. But the sick leave taken will have an impact on your bonus and increment, that is all.

I dont know your friend work in which top glove or top rumours, but he is spreading fake news.

I was an ex staff, working inside wasn't easy due to high expectations and high competition. But all the culture practiced are good. Like, 5 wells; if spoil then repair, if can't repair then buy new; do not lose share holder's money; 1% improvement a day will bring 38 times improvement after a year.

Staff will also conduct spot check in factories and worker's hostel as well, the condition, I would say acceptable. Ministers are living good lives, since childhood. They have no idea what outside is like. I started part time jobs in other companies as well, and all the hostels are similar, with beds and basic necessities. Top Glove is providing more than enough I would say.

Force labour issue, it was worker's own will to work overtime everyday. They would like to work as long as they can and claim as many overtime as possible. Until all the nonsense organization restrict that. Ask the workers, are they happy when they are not allowed to work overtime? Top Glove has gone through up and downs but they never as workers to go back early and allow them to claim overtime.

Covid in Top Glove, which I believed are not spread only during working hours. Those who work outside, who rent house or rooms, you guys should understand. Impossible for us to wear a mask in hostel, to sanitise everything before use in hostel. Are you wearing a mask when you are sleeping? Are you wearing gloves at home? Be honest to yourself.

Windfall tax, I believe this should not happen. Because we never know where the money goes. It can go to inappropriate hands, it can go to hands of people who are ungrateful, it can go to the pocket of people who corrupts, and there might be no evidence of where the money flows. It is better for top glove to use their money to improve Malaysia

All in all, I think Top Glove and their staff have been doing a very good job even before this covid. They are producing products that are helping the world to reduce the risk of contamination. Because of this covid, the company that is paying so much taxes ( all those who claim B40 or taking money from government) look top glove's staff differently, giving bad comments and so on. Shame on those who are not supporting Top Glove today because of what they are going through.

With one lesser factory producing gloves to USA, selling price might further increase due to demand.

FDA stop Terang Nusa? Sounds like now they can sell to other countries with higher selling price. Top Glove can continue to sell to USA. This will ensure more profit gain from using capacity from Terang Nusa to sell at higher price. European countries are also in deep trouble now.
