Latest data on fixed income fund flows shows significant (RM4.6bn) foreign selling of Malaysian bonds (MGS) in November, but only less than 20% of that got repatriated. There is risk that pressure on MYR/USD could sustain as investors continue to repatriate their bond sales. We also see some signs of foreign investors switching into Indon bonds from Malaysian bonds.

I believe the thing you are missing are a few unexpected events, mainly, the price war, 24% hike in natural gas tariff, 11% rise in minimum wage. So maybe they are not lying... but to say that the decline in margins are mainly due to forex gain may also be unreasonable. Thanks for the good article though!

Just spoke to the company regarding the FDA, powdered gloves are the cheapest and is mainly shipped to price sensitive countries like india and china. Also, the production lines are interchangeable so if demand shifts they can easily swap to non-powdered gloves which also garner higher ASP.
Have a good weekend guys :)

@MATB I didn't know they were obliged to sell their stake to create liquidity for retailers. That is good info. Thanks for sharing :)

Lim Cheong Guan, executive director of Top Glove, also said his company is unconcerned about the FDA proposal.
“We do not expect a significant impact from this move, as the powdered gloves we export to the U.S. are for non-medical use,” he said. “However, should our customers decide to switch to powder-free gloves or nitrile gloves, we are able to accommodate this, as we have the production capacity to do so.”

Topglove is not a dividend counter (unless you consider 2% good money lol), if they money to buy a house or a plane, where do they go? Their stake in the stock. It is normal for directors that have huge stake in their company to sell a small stake every few years.
Let me give you an example, Pony Ma Hua Teng, Chairman of Tencent in HKSE sells some of his stake every year, but share price keep going up year after year. Why? Because company is stil good but the Chairman/CEO need money to live when his wealth is not paying dividends.
Does it mean it is a bad company? Nope.
I am impressed by the amount of weight you put into Director selling. If you are saying operations are bad and will get worst then maybe I will start agreeing with you.

4. Disposal of 58,700 shares via the Singapore Exchange.
Date of transaction BEFORE 10 November 2016.
When did USDMYR start to depreciate greatly?
10 November 2016.
Directors had no idea what was coming.
:)

You are funny.
:)
Directors are selling the Singapore listed company. Not the Malaysian listed company (in case you are unaware that Topglove has dual-listing)
Regarding the directors sales which were done for their own livelihood rather than the prospects of the company, they sold right before the share price jumped 10% due to Trump Election which weaken our ringgit from USDMYR 4.20 to 4.47. I'm sure they are regretting their decision now.
Regarding EPF, they have been net buyers for the past 2 weeks now, what big picture are you talking about?
Landscapes change, since you set your mind and never change means you are stubborn to adjust to the ever changing market. Just my advice to you.
:)

Wow. But you just changed your TP from 4.00 to 3.50. You must be the one who is delusional about your own mind.
:)
Also look like you are the only few scare-artists who are evil enough to scam retailers from running from the biggest glove manufacturer in the world for healthcare related purposes.
Don't worry, I have a lot of free time and I can keep you company by actually talking facts than referring to "own references".
:)

Affin Hwang, each analyst are their own and have their own way of looking at stocks, you blindly group them together shows how inexperienced you are in the industry.
If you have no arguments regarding your TP, I also can say whatever TP i want.
TP 6.00 is unreasonable.
I should revise to 7.00.
I don't usually give unreasonable TP.
Hahahaha. You are a funny guy PlsGiveBonus :) I like your presence here. Adds comedy to my life.
