ACCEPTANCE OF NOTIFICATION OF AWARD FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF
CABLES AND CONDUCTORS IN EAST MALAYSIA

INTRODUCTION
The Board of Directors of Southern Cable is pleased to announce that Southern Cable
Sdn. Bhd. (“Southern”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Southern Cable, has accepted a
notification of award with the consent received for announcement on 24 December
2024 for the supply and delivery of cables and conductors in East Malaysia
(“Contract”).
2.
DETAILS OF THE CONTRACT
(a)
The total estimated Contract price shall be RM172,568,429.96 (Ringgit
Malaysia: One Hundred Seventy-Two Million Five Hundred Sixty-Eight
Thousand Four Hundred Twenty-Nine and sen Ninety-Six) only.
(b)
The duration of the Contract shall be for a period of twenty-four (24) months
commencing from 20 December 2024 until 19 December 2026
