How many times I have to say Ah Thong already holds sufficient warrants to take his shareholding to 48%. How to raid Insas?

Now watching this old John Woo movie "The Killer". Eh, why the lead actor resembles MrSslee?

This article first appeared in The Edge Malaysia Weekly on November 16, 2020 - November 22, 2020
SELANGOR state-controlled Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (KPS) could be privatised in the near term, two separate sources who are familiar with the matter tell The Edge.
One source adds that Darul Ehsan Investment Group Bhd, KPS’ 57.88% shareholder, has appointed CIMB Investment Bank Bhd to handle the corporate exercise.
There is no point in keeping it (KPS) listed. The company’s stock has underperformed for the longest time,” he explains.
The other source says he had heard that KPS’ privatisation was in the pipeline but did not know if CIMB had been given the mandate to handle the corporate exercise.
Market observers are not surprised that the exercise was being contemplated as KPS’ stock has long been undervalued.

Privatization will only take place in year 2030.

The SCR wouldn't have succeeded if at least 75% didn't vote For it. This is democracy.

Kok is Seputeh MP, right?

In conclusion opposing shareholders numbered only 100+ and was short of the required 40 million shares to successfully oppose the SCR.

MPHBCap EGM gave an interesting insight. Surin had over 500 shareholders in his pocket who signed proxy forms over to him. He knew he has won already.

The 100+ who turned up voted No. The 500+ who voted Yes voted by proxy.

The results show total 549 disinterested shareholders voted FOR vs 104 voted AGAINST. I saw only about 100+ shareholders turned up for the EGM. 🤔
~~~ Voting by proxy.
Anyway, we should have faith in Ah Thong. He will make us rich (again) within 17 months.
Aiyaa MrSslee, why you try to block me? Sama-sama buy at 90 sen lah.
Hexza has consistently paid a minimum of 4 sen dividend annually in the past 10 years. This year they proposed a 7.5 sen dividend. There's huge margin of safety to protect from any drastic fall in US stocks values. At least, unlike Insas, Hexza makes effort to reward shareholders with higher dividend.
Insas is full of "smart" people, at one time there was someone who predicted that Insas will hit 60 ringgit, then went missing for months, now screaming boh chow see.
Will there be sufficient disinterested shareholders to vote YES? Needs 75%. Are you one of them? Exercise your vote wisely.
@MrSslee, usually I don't like to recommend stocks to others, I just quietly buy and announce my purchases ..... and later my sales. If you desire high dividend yield with high NTA, with high net cash/near cash backing, Hexza looks promising.
Insas warrant price currently trading at 9 to 10 sen premium has discouraged Ah Thong from buying the warrants. As expiry date draws closer warrant premium will eventually drop and Ah Thong will eventually mop up the warrants cheaply.
As to the question why, oh why, oh why hasn't Ah Thong made his move yet? Because ........ because .......... Ah Thong hasn't own enough warrants yet to take his shareholding over the 50% line. At present he has enough only to take him to 48%. He needs a bit more and he isn't in a hurry as he has until February 2026.
Please be reminded that EGM is at 10.30 am today.
The cash hoard in Inari came from where? The private placements not so long ago?
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Overall stock market is going to consolidate for a while (until October) with downside bias. Only banks and utility stocks would hold up.
Who would have thought that Globetronics would crash to 83 sen? Similarly Inari might one day crash to 83 sen.
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Eight years ago Insas didn't have that much cold cash. The cash hoard is through selling Inari shares over the years. If Thong attempted to increase his shareholding it would be very costly to him. So he needed to come up with the RPS with Warrants plan to get Insas shares cheaply.
@MrSslee, investing in Insas is about timing. Patiently wait for the right time to enter.
2 months ago | Report Abuse
Insas has one billion ringgit cold cash and Thong can count them everyday but he cannot take it out. The only way to take out the cash is to exercise his warrants and take his shareholding over 50% in one move. After that there will be potentially a minimum 35 sen special dividend. Insas share price gonna explode when that day comes.
2 months ago | Report Abuse
If you want to trade Insas by buying at around 99 sen the near term upside potential is perhaps around 10 to 15% but your money will be stuck waiting for it to move and there will opportunity loss of perhaps making 30% on another stock.
Hahaha, I am a newbie investor who made four fold gain on Insas.
In the past 8 years I have enjoyed a financially well rewarded ride with Insas and I look forward to another ride.
If retailers keep buying Insas at current level they will not benefit when Thong execute his endgame plan. With technology stocks weaknesses there's opportunity for Thong to let Insas share price drift down to 90 sen level.
2 months ago | Report Abuse
@MrSslee, Thong's endgame plan is on track. 17 months to go.
@Tatooine, Thong needed warrants to fend off hostile takeover. Without the warrants MrSslee would have attempted a hostile takeover. 😁
