As far i know for covid 19 test..MOH only use antigen test kit..coz more accurate, compared to antibody test kit..which only can detect patient with covid 19 at the later phase of disease (once patient start to develop antibody)..but not in the early phase of disease..as for covid 19..require at east 7-10 days for antibody to develop..
for time being if not mistaken..sabah just started to used antigen test kit as approved by MOH..yet not for screening of all patient..only for selected emergency cases .screening test still use nasal swab coz more reliable..
