Maybe they are exiting. Why, you need to learnt of how shares are created or paidup, it could be cash or in kind. When it's in kind it can be overstated when it's listed at IPO price. That's what we call creating something out of nothing.
Shares are valuable if they are supported by precious assets and business, otherwise it's a piece of shit not worth the paper it's written in.

Well, Gumbo, Ranger may have been brought up in an environment where chinese bogeyman syndrome was used all the time. So anything chinese do would be negative. Leave him to his ingrained impression. How much words would not turn him over.

Let's agree to disagree, to you it seemed that extremists are DAP, PAS and PKR. To us the most racist and extremists are UMNO and its goons, PUKIDA and PERKOSA. So different people have different perception.

Steve Jub, when we see they declare 80% of their profits as dividend, then I salute this China shares. I would then advise you to buy. The name of the game is "where's the money Baby?"

First ask yourself why they want to list in Malaysia? Maybe they are unable to meet the stringent requirement in China. Secondly, are they transparent in their reporting? How many sets of accounts do they have? Thirdly, are they transparent in which they conduct the business?

Muslims must vote for BN, it's a sin not to. You must vote for them even though you know who and what they are. Federal Islamic body (JAKIM). Thot they said PAS should not used religion to influence muslims.
Must be if you can't win them do what they do?

rks43, you said long term profit is good. How do u managed to predict there is going to be long term profitability when there are losses even last quarter?
2013-03-28 23:39 | Report Abuse
Actually 9 months results less by a few % compare to last period. But this is being twisted to reflect 3rd quarter as very bad. Hence JP Morgan calls justify the solidness of this stock as they see potential cashflow gain flowing to shareholders from business trust listing in singapore.

RPK, On hijack of Government burseries to BN cronies and children, he has to foot money to finance his children education, like the chinese in malaysia:
"So, unless you have a good tertiary education, there is no way you can earn RM10,000 a month or more. And if you can’t earn RM10,000 or more a month then you will not have RM3 million in your EPF by the time you retire at age 60. And that means it is bad news for you.
Furthermore, you need to set aside at least RM300,000 for each kid to enter university (for at least three years) and RM1 million if this kid does medicine. And if you have five children, like many Malay families do, me included, you need millions just to see all your kids through university (I know because I paid for my kids university education in the UK from my own pocket).
And this is one major bone of contention to the Chinese. The Chinese need to dig deep into their pockets to send their children to an overseas university. Then they see the Malay kids in overseas universities receiving government aid even though some (or many) of these Malay kids do not quite make the grade.
If I were Chinese I would be upset. Even as a Malay I am upset because I have had to spend a lot of my own money putting my kids though college/university at my own expense. Then I see the kids of the Yang Berhormat, Tan Sri, Datuk Seri, Datuk, and so on enjoying their life in the UK at taxpayers’ expense and bringing home Mercedes Benzes and BMWs when they return to Malaysia."

Aiyah AlbertLIM, schools only teach theory lah, like efficient market hypo. So we must be cautious in our trading as all market are semi efficient, so there is element of manipulation. The most efficient market though is the international forex market, close to efficient but may not be totally depending on the currency pairs.

Well, they are in Scomi boat together? While their entry to O&G is considered cheap but the huge loans will have to be paid off fast if not it will become a burden to the group and retard the company'e progress. So at the moment clashes will not happen as the goal is to together buildup and attract fund managers to profile the company. The real war for control will only begin if the company later on, has strong footing, is debt free, and free from past bad management.

His rantings are based on what he perceived the situation to be. His opinion may not be platable to you. As the current market situation is fluid. For instance, why did JP Morgan make a buy call of 10 top Malaysian stocks? Obviously, whoever wins has to fix the economy for the better, so the foreigners perception has changed for the better, period. Then next week the perception may not be that positive as this week, there goes the cycle as the goal post shifts.

What can Abu and Siew directly contribute to Scomi? One is a BN crony and has got Info on Petronas tenders potential, while the other runs Oriental Restaurant. Even if they increased their shareholdings, can they really clinched contracts and managed Scomi. The reality is IJM and Hakim will run Scomi, while these substantial shareholders will goreng the stocks so long as the management produced results in the medium to the long term. It's a win win situation.

Instituionalized Racism of UMNO
"It is heart-warming really, to read those words coming from a Malay - that he/she is feeling uneasy about the institutionalised racism that has been plaguing our nation for generations now. However, the more worrying and relevant question now is where we are heading towards as a broken nation made up of a multi-racial people that is consistently threatening to burn and kill each other (metaphorically)? What is a Bangsa Malaysia? Can it be achieved only by eradicating every aspect of other differing cultures and having everyone speaking only a common tongue and nothing else? For 55 years, the leaders of this nation think so."
