AA results is not poor at all , improving operating profit , reason for the lower profit being reported is the deferred tax liability which is one off

when currency loss brings down profit, market sees AAX negatively, but when currency gain brings up the profit, the market does not seem to view it positively. Not fair?

The 'good' profit comes from gain in foreign exchange, something which will not be seen again in Q3, if low fare price issue is not resolved , you wont see much fireworks in Q3 either.
Q4 and Q1 are the 2 seasons whereby airlines can fetch higher fares because of festivities, and that't Y Q2 and Q3 are seen as weak Q's

What Radzi gave is only his OPINION based on his own calculation, it is up to the viewers to judge whether to base their investment decisions based on the calculation.If you do not agree to the calculations, just ignore them.
