the world economy is very stretched and has the potential of going into a prolonged consolidation especially in the US. this may adveresly affect oil prices. U hv to be very wary of this. Not good to be overexposed to O and G stocks.

Correctly said xxxx but such stocks are the utility,banks and some consumer stocks like F.N, Bat, games, Sumatec does not come close. Oil and Gas is cyclical and much depend on demand and supply and price of energy and hence cost of production. It may hv potential now but will not last. So do not expect longterm interest. So why longterm. It is because of my ignorance and herd instinct that I lost heavily in the 90s

in Klse u cannot be a long term invester. By experience u hv to take risks by trading ie selling and buying at the right time even though stocks are fundamentally sound and u hv to know also the companies strength. this time some longterm investers maynot be able to recover for very longtime. Yeah Harvard57 u are darn right. Beware when investing in all the stan countries. People there especially ex russian territories are all lazy and unreliable. many of them are drug addicts and demand high salaries without working hard. They have a lot of oil but heavily corrupted. I suggest u do not invest at all. luckily I have not bought any Sumatec shares. i hv an engineer there who sometimes got pay but sometime no pay. Finally he resign.TSHS is risking his empire.
