国际贸易及工业部有足够证据以继续对从新加坡与土耳其进口的混凝土钢筋展开反倾销调查。

贸工部今日发文告说，随着代表本地钢筋生产商的大马钢铁协会提交请愿书后，当局已依据1993年反补贴和反倾销税法令第23条文，展开初步调查。

该请愿书声称，从上述国家出口的钢筋产品，以低于本地市场的价格进口到大马，冲击本地相关领域。

贸工部指政府决定以银行担保的形式，征收相等于初步所鉴定倾销赚幅的临时反倾销税。从这些国家进口的商品将被征收0至20.09%的反倾销税，有效期不超过120天，并从2019年9月23日起生效。

该部指根据调查结果，最终决定将会在2020年1月21日前出炉。利益相关者可致函向该部提出申请，以获得非机密版的初步调查报告。
