2. ALLEGED AFFAIR WITH A JUDGE’s WIFE
Muhyiddin was having an affair with a judge’s wife and the judge sued his wife for divorce because of that.
In his grounds for divorce, the judge stated infidelity as the reason and Muhyiddin’s name was mentioned in the Statutory Declaration.
The judge’s wife, however, wanted to challenge that divorce and if this matter was tried in open court it would have been very embarrassing for Muhyiddin.
So a certain Chinese tycoon arranged to pay the judge’s wife RM2 million as a sort of divorce settlement on the agreement that she would not challenge the divorce.

Stamford refused.
The following week, they received a letter from the Johor State Government signed by Muhyiddin stating that the government has taken over the land.

...THE DETAILS OF MUHYIDDIN YASSIN’s ABUSE OF POWER
AS JOHOR MM TO BLACKMAIL INVESTORS FOR PERSONAL GREED
Stamford Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is a plantation company registered in Malaysia under the Companies Act and 90% of its equities are owned by the Seet family from Singapore, the Gan family and the Wang family from Malaysia.
In 1994, Stamford applied to the Johor government for permission to develop a light industrial estate on part of its huge land holdings near the state capital of Johor Baru. However nothing happened during the subsequent four years.
In 1998, two Malaysians approached Stamford alleging that they were the Johor Menteri Besar’s (Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin), business associates and that they were able to able to get Stamford ’s application approved promptly.
The two individuals were Syed Mokhtar Albukhary and Datuk Yahya Taib. The meeting was held in Singapore .
The one pertinent condition was that Stamford form a joint venturetogether with them along with Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin wherebyStamford would retain 70% of the shareholdings in this JV company and that the trio would pump in RM1,800,000 (approx RM3,397.50 per acre) into the JV Company to develop 1,766 acres of its 8,310 acres in total land holdings.
In late 1989, Stamford agreed to the proposal and the four parties formed a JV company, which resubmitted a fresh application to theJohor State government to convert the 1,766 acres of plantation landto industrial use. The new application was promptly approved.
When the property was later sold in 1994, the Muhyiddin group's initial investment of RM1.8 million had soared to RM83.2 million(4622%).
Meanwhile in 1992, Syed Mokhtar Albukhary and Datuk Yahya Taib again approached Stamford ’s directors, proposing to develop the remaining 6,544 acres of Stamford 's Johor prime land holdings.
However the conditions were different this time around.
They were willing to pay RM30,000 per acre to Stamford but demanded 70% equity stake.
When Stamford insisted on retaining the original JV conditions whereby they hold 70% equity and that the Albukhary - Taib- Yassin group pay RM70,000 per acre for the 30% equity stake, one of Muhyiddin's associates allegedly warned Stamford’s directors that the land acquisition papers were on the MB’s desk and could be “signed at any time”. Stamford refused
A few days later, Muhyiddin called up Stamford again, and told them:
“Look, I have this piece of paper in front of me on my desk. All I have to do is sign it and Stamford Holdings will no longer own the4,000 acres of land. Now, do you agree or not to develop the land and I take 70%?”
Stamford again refused.
The following week, they received a letter from the Johor State Government signed by Muhyiddin stating that the government has taken over the land.
Conspiracy
In July 1994, the State Government of Johor officially acquired the land on behalf of the Johor Islamic Economic Development Corporation (Perbadanan Kemajuan Ekonomi Islam Negeri Johor) under the Land Acquisition Act.
Stamford Holdings, through its director, Gan Tee Kian, filed the suit in the Kuala Lumpur High Court on February 4, 1995 claiming that Muhyiddin, Syed Mokhtar and Yahya contravened the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act in acquiring the piece of land through the Johor Islamic Economic Development Corporation and sued the trio for damages for alleged conspiracy in acquiring land in Johor through the Land Acquisition Act.

below 1.00 is good bet..."the involvement of Airbus in the sponsorship of the sports team was a well-known and widely-publicised matter bringing branding and other benefits to Airbus."
it's not 'donation' directly to Tony's personal account..
Maybe less the price than what you think. Corruption in a listed company is no laughing matter and definately not a small matter. Companies had gone bankrupt or wind up because of the tops executives corruption. What if the authorities started to trace the corruption from the beginning when AA started buying planes?
Sometime I use to wonder how AA had gone overboard by buying and ordering so many planes when a big number is not delivered yet. I too was suspicious. Why bother if the company goes bankrupt as long as the tops people is fully loaded because of kick backs, hahaha

MACC probing AirAsia execs over Airbus bribes
Published: Feb 1st, 2020
The MACC has launched an investigation following revelations that AirAsia and AirAsia X executives were allegedly among those who received bribes from European aircraft manufacturer Airbus.
In a statement today, chief commissioner Latheefa Koya (above) said it was in correspondence with authorities in the UK over the matter.
“Under the MACC Act 2009 we are empowered, and have jurisdiction, to investigate any act of corruption committed by any Malaysian citizen or permanent resident in any place outside of Malaysia.
“In the case of the Airbus-Airasia disclosures, I confirm that the MACC is in touch with the UK authorities and is already investigating the matter,” she said.
Section 66 of the MACC Act allows the anti-graft body to take action against Malaysians and permanent residents for cases outside the country.
Yesterday, UK newspaper The Telegraph reported that Airbus had paid US$50 million and offered another US$55 million to sponsor a sports team linked to two “key decision-makers” at AirAsia and AirAsia X.
According to the article, one of the executives of the Malaysian low-cost carrier had purportedly sent an email saying he was “[…] fed up. You owe me four million already and I’m owed 16 million in total. This should have been paid ages ago when I bought the first 60 aircraft. I want my money”.
The alleged bribery took place between 2011 and 2015.
Aside from AirAsia and AirAsia X, Sri Lankan Airlines, Taiwan’s TNA and a Ghana military aircraft deal were also implicated in the Airbus scandal.
Airbus will pay a record-breaking total of €3.6 billion in settlements in the UK, France and the US after admitting to “endemic” levels of bribery in its business dealings.
The previous global record for settlement was when Brazilian engineering group Odebrecht paid US$2.6 billion to end investigations brought against it by domestic, US and Swiss authorities.
