the average selling price for a small bungalow plot (6000 to 8000 square feet) in Bandar Tanjung Pinang ranges from rm500 to rm600 psf ; whereas in Ewein's case, something this size shld fetch a discount because the developer has to build roads, drainage system,Tenaga sub-station etc which is to be surrendered to relevant authorities for free, hence the "usable" land is only about 60 to 65% purchased, and in Ewein's case it works out to be rm839 gross and about rm1400 net...!!!

When can the Malays b on par with Chinese economically ? As Warren Buffet always says 'don't put all your eggs in one basket', well , he can afford to say this as he has tens to hundreds of billions to spend; but for a young Turk say with RM10000, can he afford to divide this into unit trust, FD and several counters ? Well not everything he says suits us...AS for Uncle Koon's 15 rules, I gladly say that I concur with him on 13 out of 15..(exception:No.7 & No.15)

Everyday we are bombarded with different calls frm analysts, remisiers, news portals, commentaries, tv newspapers etc...buy O&G counters, buy Technology stocks, buy construction stocks, buy furniture and glove stocks (export), buy property counters, buy banking stocks, airline stocks,utility stocks, food counters, buy this buy that, buy the entire KLSE... etc etc....They all don't matter, what matters most is WE OURSELVES call the shots..! If UNcle Koon chose to buy furniture stocks and VS among the many stocks recommended and making so much money, don't you think it speaks volumes and substance of him..!! On hindsight we think it's easy, but during that particular period when he made the move, it is more than sheer luck or accidental coincidence that prompted him to..!! He's got the knack, bro...

Actually Uncle Koon is not boasting, bragging or exaggerating.. He takes pride for what he has accomplished and sharing with us his success formula..we shld be grateful

To be fair to Uncle Koon, we cannot compare KLCI and DJI... In 1993-94 where KLCI was at his highest around 1320, DJI was hovering around 2800-3200; more than 20 yrs later, DJI is now at 17000 (increase of more than 550%) whereas KLCI is languishing at 1700(increase of mere 28%) even after taking into account the
manipulation of most of index-linked counters...I could say if Warren Buffet were to invest in Malaysia, its no guarantee that he would make it here given the unlevel playing ground, the meddling of state-owned funds (EPF, Tabung Haji, MARA, Khazanah ect) where the assimilation of news, deals etc are privy to them..It's no small feat for Uncle Koon to make so much money amidst the hostile investing environment..IF Uncle Koon were born and investing in US market, I'm sure he would perform very much better...

If oil price stays at this level, ringgit will be languishing at US$4 to 4.5 or even worse as we are too dependent on oil revenue....during those good times whre oil was above US$100, Petronas had over hired personnels and drastic pay increase apart frm dishing out lucrative contracts ...alas, good times never last..we are paying the price now..

yes external factors macro environment are beyond our control..

Hevea has already pared down its debt to less than US$10 mln, whreas the revenue is about RM440 per annum...the depreciation of ringgit works to its best advantage..! Remember the loss of forex in US$10m debt is a one time affair,whreas the gain in revenue of RM440 m per year is a revolving one...!!

Hevea's profits could all be TAX FREE as they have RM237 Million tax incentives..!!

During these trying times when our currency is of low value, instead of hedging ringgit, why not buy a counter with exposure to earning in foreign currency as a means to hedge ?? Jst remember, the extra surplus frm forex could be higher than RM20 million per quarter (RM80 M per annum) based on current exchange rate of US$4.30

See my comments in June to Sep 2013 when I said that Inari could be worth RM3 to RM4 when it was trading at RM0.65 ..during that time nobody believed me..!!

Where else in Bursa can you find a counter that sources almost 100% of its raw material locally and earn its revenue more than 90% in US$...

Based on current exchange rate of US$4.35 and coupled with the increase in revenue particularly the higher rated particleboards business which yields a much higher profits, the Q4 2015 profits could as high as RM 35 to RM43 Million, and due to its higher free float shares, it could command a PE of 12 , the stock could be worth RM3 to RM4 by Feb 2016..!!

Cheers and wait out the Greek and China storm....the sky will be bluer, air fresher and grass greener so the say...and Bintai will be the nxt star performer..!

Bintai- 2nd Ifcamsc in the making...! Remember when its price was around 30 to 40 sen, every soothsayer in the market opined that it was over priced, but within a mere 9 mths time, it shot up to 1.87 before settling down at around 1.2 level...
With a mkt cap of mere RM62 mil, and with a earning visibility for the nxt 1 yr, coupled with a spike in Revenue and Profits, favourable forex vis-à-vis Singdollar, the sky is the limit for this counter...no wonder the warrants are trading at a good premium..!

IFCAMSC Forumers, watch out for Bintai and Bintai-WA...!! The mum's price is severely undervalued; future earnings visibility is remarkable, high time to revalue upward the stocks..could touch .5 in near term;,warrants shld command 0.3...!!

Bursa you go to sleep for being so blind...!! IFCAMSC price had been going since last week until yesterday wiping out as much as RM 500 million (more than RM1) of their market cap, there was no UMA...; today investors rushed in to pick up the battered cheap stocks and in the process lifted the price up by 15 cents and you for no valid reasons issued a UMA by questioning why the stocks had gone DOWN...!!! You are the world's laughing stock for issuing a UMA questioning long gone news in total contradiction of what has just happened...!!! That's the reason why Malaysia is so pathetic and regressive with govt servants like you around...
