Someone just bought half a million worth of shares. Wow!

Huge volume suddenly at the last hour of trading.

As I wrote before, its another extension. For now the price will continue to linger until able to find a resolution when contract is announced. Too many eyes on the contract renewal. Some has pointed out the upside is low compared to downside but those holding at ~RM1 or below should have no problem continue holding. Let's just wait and see.

Concession should be announced soon since today is the last day of extension, unless they are going to announce another extension.

I don't think the price will be affected much from the QR, mainly because it is expected that the results will be somewhat similar since nothing much has changed during the quarter (MCO started mid March). The main focus here is the concession renewal. If renewed, it will shoot up but if not then expect gap down. However, even if gap down there will still be investors who is confident of the company's earnings as they are not relying only on the concession contract.

TBH there is no other competitor that is able to replicate what MYEG is doing now, to award to another company would cause some transition problem as MYEG's infrastructure is already established. In the time where stability is desired, the way forward is to renew contract for another 3 years with extension in mind if required.

Market will decide tomorrow. If investing for the QR for this COVID pandemic will be disappointed for the results. However, cash position is still solid. Expect red tomorrow but long term may still be able to get back investor's confidence.

MYEG has proposed to continue the authority to buy back up to 10% of their shares. KWP and EPF has been collecting. I think this is a positive sentiment by the company and authority regarding their contract renewal and performance in the coming year.

Collect more at lower price I guess haha. I bought some at about 90c++ and then some at 1.46 and today some at 1.35. Better to do some homework first hahaha. Nonetheless I am holding this until it moves up because the question is not if they will get the award, it is when.

The so called "bad" news is because the unexpected deferment of concession contract award. Currently MYEG has a one month extension of their contract for e-government services and until further notice for immigration services.

However as many pointed out before, MYEG's platform is efficient and there don't seem to be a contender as their system is engrained to many people's mind already. I also used myeg to pay summons etc. Their system is good. Changing to a new operator would cause problems.

As predicted by some forumer, it didn't go down 0.20, was queuing at 0.20 but immediately shot up to 0.21 and now staying 0.215 after briefly touched 0.22

Bought some at RM1.35 now.

Damn... didnt buy fast enough. Those who got at ~RM1.33 is good

Just to add my 2 cents into the discussion, if haven't been done already.

BCM Alliance is also selling consumables for X-rays, and COVID-19 patients will go through X-ray to detect the changes in their lung capacity/screening as well. You can imagine how many X-rays has been done lately with the amount of total infected people. (http://www.bestcontact.com.my/)

Most likely will be award back to MYEG, for the past 2 months in MCO government services can't run in full capacity to allow for extension of contract. We shall see after raya when they will be awarded.

Even Comfort isn't spared from the downtrending it seems. It is time to buy soon. Their 2019 annual report and quarter report should be out end of this month or end of June.

The PP is expected to complete in Q3 of 2020, and then their new production lines are expected to complete in the same quarter. The factory is almost done according to Rubberex and the construction was stopped due to MCO. So expect it to be completed in the next few months (not overnight as someone claimed, obviously right). You can do more research on this counter, their financials are good with a lot of headroom now for them.
