As a result of the above, the High Court of Kuala Lumpur had struck out the OS together with the notice of application (ex-parte)
- no longer court case
Left arbitration only (not a court case)
However with consent order, dnex cannot add new director to the board

From summary:
- Semicon is a cartel, if u not in the ecosystem , u not in the market
- Dnex ada rakan kongsi dari luar-dapat access into technology and market
this is the main reason why silterra cannot make money (people from foundry line will understand it)

Yes, the key words are
1- IR4 (5G included)
2- CGP
These are the factors that different from few years back

Ha ha.. I am here not to win any argument, just want to share my opinion based on my knowledge (not based on google search or what)
Agree with you cost of energy in Malaysia is higher compare to Taiwan. But do you know how many percent this energy cost contribute to overall foundry operation cost? How about Singapore energy cost? Singapore also has foundry belongs to MNC- Globalfoundries. And if you were to decide on any new business, will you proceed if you cannot even pass basic requirement like energy cost?
Beside Silterra, Infineon also has foundry in Kulim. So, this germany company dont care about high energy cost in our country?
Take note that in semiconductor, there are many area with different requirement. CPU, memory, auto, RF, Display etc. You dont have to cover all segments. Focus on niche area.

Yes silterra consume vey high energy compare to other type of factory. Stability of power supply is very important. That is why kulim hi tech park has NUR Power to manage it (not TNB). This is to minimize the risk. This factor has already been considered before they built the foundry.
As for other factors religious and public holiday not worth to discuss. Not a main factor.

Silterra main focus not CPU, memory etc. So there is no need to focus on smaller node. And silterra will definitely cannot beat TSMC, UMC to compete at 25nm etc.
130nm still popular. In fact many analog, RF chip still using it. Even 180ns still popular. You must understand, smaller node come with other drawback i.e leakage etc. In short, some application require smaller node and some cannot use smaller node.

Silterra has technical capability because expatriate from korea, india, etc lead the technical side.
Foundry business is very expensive. So, to profit from it you need enough customer. In this field, it is not easy for customer to switch their vendor because this is very high tech industry (not like MPI, inari, ftrken, greatech etc). That is why Silterra was a loss making company few years back. Now, with new partner CGP and IR4, I strongly believe Silterra will finally become a profitable company. The ingredients are there. Let's just wait and time will tell.

"chips shortages are quite a normal part of semiconductor business cycle.
Over the years I can think of more than 5 runs of chips shortages.
After chips shortages, it is normally followed by chips surplus."
-i3lurker
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The statement is correct during normal period of semicon business. However, now we are in 4th industrial revolution- IR4 (you can google to study it). That is why demand in semicon surge. Semicon is the main component in this IR4.

@lanikai FY2020 10.5mil during covid crisis.
FY2019 is 120mil (with higher brent price though ~70usd). I guess if without covid and brent ~60usd maybe ~60mil (just a wild guess)
Dnex's profit for FYE2019 is 30mil. So, the potential profit is double after integrate PING performance into financial report

From the announcement, the PAT contribution from PING is quite significant to overall dnex's financial performance

"PING is also looking towards expanding its exploration operations to oil fields within the Southeast Asia region"
Looks like dnex planning to go big in O&G. Maybe another 50-50 co-operation with hibiscus which is similar to Anasuria. Hibiscus also targeting to acquire asset in Southeast Asia region.

the reason I am interested in dgb is that they JV with XOX to develop AI vending machine which is a growing business. It is not a just vending machine, but it will also provide an advertisement source of income. With XOX as a partner it will definitely help dgb to start their new business as XOX already has quite good subscribers network.
With no debt and possible new income from the AI vending machine business, I think DGB future is quite promising.

xox fly
kgroup fly
m3tech fly
if you check activities for xox, kgroup, m3tech and dgb you can see some pattern... xox, kgroup after PP 30% price will fly. dgb just completed the 30% PP, so there is chance it will fly
if you check director list for 4 companies above, u can see 2 of dgb directors also a director for xox and m3tech
kgroup= major shareholder of xox
dgb= shareholder of m3tech

dnex's share price before silterra was ~0.2. If not due to latest issue, it will be around ~0.8 to 1. The revenue and profit also increased a lot.
