forest18,ytlp is a huge conglomerate,but power seraya contributed the bulk of its revenue n earnings,hence any factor that impacted pseraya in a big way will reflect in the p&l...rm appreciating usd will only attract ff to come into the sectors that benefit frm interest rate cut or importers industry....not into cos affected by rm appreciation

Of course ytlp is not glove,but its is subject to exchange rate fluctaution,if you think RM will drop to 3.57 to sgd 1,by all means buy on weakness...

a depreciation of 7.3%,meaning contribution frm power seraya will decrease 7.3% on exchange translation alone
