Ohhh Yeahhh, and also IBS can be for many type of construction, talking about affordable housing type of construction, no doubt Ajiya IBS is the only choice right now, ohhhh yeahhhh

As far as I know, few players in the market have their own IBS systems like MMC Gamuda and China construction players, but those are for themselves only, the only one market to the construction players if not mistaken is only Ajiya IBS
2017-05-20 08:27 | Report Abuse
From Ajiya annual report, IBS will started with government projects such as Prima, which they are already started on it. Good news for Ajiya
2017-05-20 08:26 | Report Abuse
Moving forward, Ajiya holds many promising prospects.
As the Malaysian government ramps up the supply of
affordable homes through its various initiatives, Ajiya
stands to benefit significantly as its AGIBS system
is apt for the development of affordable yet quality
homes. Apart from that, as the demand for affordable
housing units, particularly in the range of RM200,000 to
RM250,000, is expected to remain strong amid a soft
Malaysian property market in 2017, we are bullish that
more private developers will opt for the utilisation of
AGIBS in the development of affordable homes. AGIBS
is highly capable to build affordable homes both on
a competitive basis and with a quick turnaround time
of merely less than eight (8) months. The increased
demand for AGIBS in future will undoubtedly be a boon
for Ajiya’s metal products and safety glass divisions.

AGIBS which is a housing solutions under Metal Products
Division, is expected to gain stronger traction in 2017
and onwards. Ajiya’s AGIBS system comprises of its
eight series of housing components which can be used
to design, detail and manufacture steel frames for both
the residential and light commercial markets.
Moving forward into 2017, we are highly optimistic of
AGIBS commendable performance. Memorandums
of Understanding that have been signed previously
is expected to be realised and implemented in 2017.
AGIBS will also be used in the construction of affordable
746 PR1MA housing units in Sarawak. We believe more
projects will be carried out in future by utilising AGIBS,
upon our successful implementation of the system in
pilot PR1MA project.

SHAH ALAM: New legislation is needed to make it compulsory for the construction industry to use the industrialised building system (IBS) which reduces the country's dependency on foreign workers drastically, said Minister in the Prime Minister''s Department Datuk Seri Abdul Rahman Dahlan.
He said through the IBS, which is also known as pre-frabricated construction, building components are made in the factories under controlled environments and sent to the construction site to be assembled into a structure using minimal workforce.
"There are many foreign workers in the construction industry, and when IBS is used, we can reduce our dependency on foreign workers at the construction site because all housing components are made in the factory.
"The components are then sent directly to the construction site and this will also solve the problem of noise pollution and garbage disposal at the sites which affect those who live around the project," he said in a press conference held after officiating the Youth Skills Day at the Tunnelling Training Academy of MMC Gamuda here today.
Abdul Rahman said the requirement for the IBS woud also control the outflow of money amounting to RM30 billion by foreign workers.
He said members of the construction industry must be given up to three years to build their own IBS factories before it is made compulsory.
Abdul Rahman said he was working with Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof and Minister of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Tan Sri Noh Omar to finetune the proposal to make the IBS compulsory.
He also praised MMC Gamuda which had its own IBS factory as well as the academy which was the first in the world to provide training for work relating to tunnelling , using tunneling machinery.
Earlier, Abdul Rahman presented certificates of completion to 100 trainees of the academy who undertook training in welding, mechanical and electrical works in the tunnelling construction industry.
The trainees also received job offer letters from Gamuda Group for underground work of the MRT Line 2 (Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya) which is expected to begin this November.
