What i'm more worried is theimpact on price of warrant which might fall to as low as 14 - 15 sen.

In my opinion, if aax continue to trade sideways over the next week or so, if there is a big fish suddenly dump a large volume at low price, it will test the faith of intermediate holders and the price shall remain there if no other big players willing to absorb it.

i think it's not impossible that epf is selling at one day and buying back another day, but given the circumstance that they just stopped to become the substantial shareholder of aa, i wonder whether this is a plotted / organised exit from the counter and will there be a new substantial shareholder emerge soon ? I think all this will only helps aa to strive on ! Interesting !

What i feel now is that there are some sourgrapes trying to:-
(a) dissuade readers to buy aax ;
(b) persuade readers to sell aax so that they can buy at lower price;
(b) persuade readers to sell aax and turn their funds to aa; or
(d) all of the above

Madcat, i think perhaps u mean some forumers don't understand how hedge accounting treatment works to be exact? If i didn't get it wrong, the hedge effectiveness plays an important role in qualification for hedge accounting treatment under IFRS 9. Madcat, u may enlighten us as well with this if you are willing. Thanks

I have similar feedbacks from friends too.. Some say it doesn't suit their risk profiles, some say it doesn't have a long term potential, some say they are not interested in penny stocks, some say aax has already risen so much, some say they are not convinced yet by the performance, some say they have better options.. At the end of the day, no matter what stocks everyone buy, the most important thing is that everyone makes money.. Happy trading !

Sometimes, i find it a little funny when someone from aa comes over to aax page to try to justify which is better and vice versa.. All with vested interest..trying to promote and attract public interest in their shares, hoping to boost volume.. Understood ! Hahaha !

Honestly, how far can it travel or how high can it climb, i sincerely do not know. But as long as the wave is still there, i shall ride with it and go in more coming monday ! May the force be with us !

It is because not everyone is as well-learned in investment or as calm as the rest when turbulence strike, thus ruining their entire life with the smallest moment of mistake or rather greed. But it is true that the bursa is cruel, no place sympathy and for the faint-hearted.

Goldenshares, as much as we all would like to gain some pretty profit by investing in aax, which in my opinion really has a great future, as equally responsible as we should be when advocating it to the others. In my opinion, going in now with readily available funds should be alright but borrowings from ah long really should be avoided if possible. Just 2 cents from me, no offence intended

After aax crossed AAX-WA exercise price of 0.46, every movement of 0.005 in mother share will be mirrored by the same 0.005 in movement of the child. Just imagine how much that profit brings !

Seems like aax is overshadowed by aa (in term of big funds pushing up the price).. No choice, will have to wait longer to see any positives from it. May be have to wait aa show finish 1st

If i didn't get it wrong, sale & leaseback of the same aircraft is effectively a financial sale & leaseback from accounting point of view and no disposal nor immediate profit to be booked in, rather treated as revaluation to be transferred to income statement over life period. Money received will be treated as a loan and monthly installment paid to leaseback will be treated as repayment of loan & interest

Or possible to be delisted and acquired wholly by AA?

The obstacles ahead now are about testing our faith / patience in holding as it might not always be a positive growth q-o-q especially after 1Q16 given its high probability of another even strong showing. For all of us who share the same dream, hopefully we can hold on to it and share the joy when the plane finally lands at the end of 2016.

ABC1, if u manage to buy at the matching opening price, that's the money that u need to pay (1.45) regardless of the price u q (1.50)

In my opinion, they only push down the price today as they can purchase much more by contra besides profit taking 1st.. Just imagine the amount they can buy with contra and earn when sell come Monday without utilising any cash ! The better the result, the higher it jumps, hopefully !

Radzi & jj chan: Yeah, I do agree on the forex issue & I have a pretty optimistic view on aax future as well especially Jan 2016 - June 2017. But my concern is that people will start to panic sell & whether I should follow suit to take profit 1st / cut loss especially for aax-wa & buy back few hours or days later.

Okay, understood. If let's say aax result is less than favourable, then what is expected of the sharks to do? Are they willing to make loss by selling off at lower price since they collect such high volume @ 0.24 - 0.25?

Then is the large Q buying @ 0.24 genuine? Are they placing the block @ 0.25, 0.255, 0.26 to force them sell @ 0.24?

Forex gain / loss is computed using average rate. I believe average rate for Q4 is even higher than Q3, thus resulting in further forex loss. It's just a matter of the extent of forex loss that will erode the operating profit.

Share par value already reduced from 0.20 to 0.08, I don't think share split is possible in short term. Might even think of consolidation given the large amount of shares.

In my opinion, tiger will continue to fall to 0.6 - 0.65, forcing people to sell while they accumulate at lower price. Once accumulate enough then will goreng 1 shot !
