Time to look for FKLI SELL .......... :D

After having slipped below the 200MA just a session ago, it may need a few more sessions to lift itself out of BEARLAND. LOL!!!!

The Dow is struggling to stay in positive territory but could still possibly end up in the RED by tomorrow morning.

DJI slipped below the 200SMA only last nite. It will need some extra "oomph" to push it back up, above & most importantly STAY ABOVE the 200SMA to convince more Wall St. traders to take new positions. Mind you, the bears live below the 200 ...... until DJI prices return above the 200, sentiments can still be consider BEARISH.

5 sen dividend for a .50sen par stock? That translate to 10% div? Are you sure? Hmmmmm the KSL enthusiast are not showing their hands, so far.

Profit takers to dominate after this window dressing. Some positioning square-off will also be xpected. Thos who manage to see some profits after this window dressing take note. Those who did not make anything worth mentioning better be well prepared for some stress ahead. If your stock is stil ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzz with all this activities, what be be the end result when proit taking sets in? C $$$ TAKE $$$ ..... will be good policy, for now.

Fundamental reports usually 3mths, 6 mths or 12 mths but technicalities are displayed daily, weekly, monthly or yearly by ways of candlesticks or lines. There are no concrete rules which one investors must follow. It's individual preference really. FA investors are usually midterm or longterm plays while TA traders more on shortterm or even contra tradings. The question of whether FA or TA is better does not arises ...... the cat that catches the rat is the better pussy.

I wouldn't mind buying myself some KLS if I spot some bullish turnaround signals ...... and I wish to see some for your sake rather than mine.
And I repeat, KLS is fundamentally sound but technically NOT condusive now for an entry.
2015-06-30 12:19 | Report Abuse
Good FA but bad TA stock ..... sorry to say this KSL is a fundamentally sound stock but technically, it is in a quandry as seen by it's continuous price downside since March 2015. The whole price chart are a reflection of the confidence investors have for KSL. Besides your kindself, I'm there are also many investors eyeing KLS but the technicals are not condusive for an entry or new positions. Hence the low volume (daily + weekly + monthly. KSL prices would be more encouraging if a couple of a couple of bullish technical formations emerge. The flashing of some positive signals would be very very helpful to draw in those on the sidelines.
As it is now (until some positive technicals emerge) KLS ain't going nowhere, just yet.

KLSE is a small pond compared to shark infested oceans like HK & Tokyo. Even S'pore have much bigger foreign participations than our KLSE. What we need is just some baby sharks to cause some ripples ..... that should be sufficient buoyancy to keep us above the waterline.
If Putrajaya is as calm as we'd wish, which is what forigners want too, we'd be nearer to FBMKLCI hitting 2000 pts and the beginning of a bull run.

Fund Managers (local + foreign)mid year window dressing. The weaker ringgit is making Malaysian stocks attractive to foreign funds. Only problem is how long will this consistency last. Of course I'm wishing for extended time too :D
2015-06-30 11:19 | Report Abuse
FBMKLCI is in HARAMI formation at time of writing. Another bullish candle tomorrow will provide a little more upside consistency. This pattern can easily change since it is now less than 1/2 day trading. I'm also wishing it will end today's trading with a HARAMI hopefully a bullish candle for tomorrow. No harm dreaming, right? Wish upon a star......

upside "CONSISTENCY" ......... that'll be a very much sought after commodity right now. LOL!
2015-06-30 10:16 | Report Abuse
Some mid-year Window Dressing activities only. Not much consistencies coming days ahead. It'll be unwise to feel bullish just becoz the index defied many doomsday toothsayer. The DJI last night went below the 200MA ...... Hv u not heard before? The bulls live above the 200 .... below it, the bears?

FBMKLCI needs to break above 1714.59 to valid a full daily recoup. We are just a tad away from yesterday's close

KLS can be considered a fundamentally sound stock but when the volume is dominated by 81% sellers what's so strange about KSL swimming underwater now?
No new position takers except profit takers which in my books is a wise decision for the moment.
For those new entries, big losses usually begin with small losses .... can read my drift?

Fardar Chye ....... Becareful, the Lower Bollinger Band in the FBMKLCI is dipping lower slowly but surely. I'd humbly suggest some profit taking amongst your portfolio if any. New positions? You better not even think about it until some hook-up. Just ignore whatever some mavericks here might recommend. LOL!!!

FBMKLCI already hit -2 down and that's less than 15 minutes after opening. I'd be a contended investor if FBMKLCI can fall less than 4 or 5 points by 5.00pm.
2015-06-26 07:38 | Report Abuse
The Dow fell 75.71 points, or 0.42 percent, to 17,890.36 as investors continued to take cues from the ongoing Greek debt crisis as the country again failed to clinch a deal with its international creditors, setting up a last-ditch effort on Saturday to avert a default next week. This coming Wednesday will be crucial to the Greeks should they default. Unavoidable to avert a slam dunk on world markets at least until timeout.
Our FBMKLCI won't be any better off either. You can bet on that. Would be wise to keep some cash until this Greek fiasco blows over.

SUMATEC faces 2 major obstacles ....... 1)Strong Resistance at 0.21 and 2)It's MACD is still below the middle line making it doubly hard to break overhead resistance @ 0.21. Once the MACD moves towards or above the middle line then 0.23 shouldn't be much problem. Support is seen at 0.18

aaaahhhh it doesn't matter what technical preference you uses. Black cat or white cat, as long as it catches the rat, it's a good pussy ;P
Yes BB 20/2/2 is default settings and should not be reset unless your are an above average techie.
Now back to the BB @KLCI ..... prices are pressuring the lower band to expand lower (meaning downside possibility. A classic example of a freefall fo the FBMKLCI can be seen on the 1st Dec 2014 ....... notice how the KLSE market spiral downwards when the Lower Bollinger Band dived?
Hmmmmm it's becoming more interesting, isn't it?
2015-06-26 00:08 | Report Abuse
hi Fadar Chye ..... Bollinger Bands consist of a center line (Mid BB) and two price channels (bands) above and below it. The center line is an exponential moving average; the price channels are the standard deviations of the stock being studied. The bands will expand and contract as the price action of an issue becomes volatile (expansion) or becomes bound into a tight trading pattern (contraction).
As I've mentioned earlier, the DJI prices, if closes below Mid BB (17961.80) may be a beginning of more consolidation ahead most probably due to the Greek financial crisis.
As like many other technical readings, BB is subjective. Other techies have differential technicalities such as MACD, SMA, STOCHASTICS blah blah blah. Actually, it's just just different strokes for different folks.

hi Fadar Chye ..... Five days until default. That's the reality facing Greece if yet another round of emergency talks with creditors fails.
Meanwhile Dow prices still holding on above the daily 14 days Moving Average and the Mid BB. Until it sinks, then only will should we refactor another option.
All is not loss, yet ;)

CAREPLS has been trading above it's upward sloping 20 days Moving Average which is technically a good sign. Furthermore, it's resistance is quite far at 0.805. Any pullback to Support level 0.735 would can be considered a buying opportunity. Cutloss recommended at 0.70.
I put some money in last week at 0.71 ..... keeping fingers crossed. So far so good :P

@ 0.115 how good you expected this stock to be? Fundametally, don't even weigh it but technically showing some upside + volume increment. Traders play this counter hoping to get around 40% - 50% profits hopefully by midterm or roughly by year end window dressing. That should be logically possible if the negativity of the 1MDB fiasco simmers down. The Dow is falling into consolidation mode but buffer by the strong greenback. FBMKLCI would likely be the same pressured by the weakening MYR.
Our year end window dressing will be enhanced by our weak ringgit as foreign funds will be able to buy more with their USD. Our local funds? Almost running on empty ........

DJI candlestick closing prices now backed up above in bullish territory >>>> above the 200SMA. Should be a useful yardstick for FBMKLCI opening numbers.
However, our MYR is a totally different kettle of fish. Individually, each hv to weigh the pros & cons ...... Goodluck.
