As I ve stated so many times, buying properties hoping tat it will double in price in 5 yrs time is waning given the fact tat most properties in Klang Valley are oversupplied n overhanged with poor demand in some places...However land prices is holding up strong, in fact it is steadily rising year by year...U just need to ask urself Nick, whether u are buying asset or earning in your stock investment...If u go for earning, then don waste time with Mkland as they don ve much expertise to undertake massive project n management is quite poor n incompetent...If u go for asset then Mkland is ideal for u as its massive landbank will support its share price in mkt downturn and it could be target for takeover n buyout due to its low valuation...Overtime values in Mkland will still grow despite its poor financial performance all bcos of the valuable landbank they own in Damansara Perdana n Damai...

I know DRB has quality asset BUT it has also mountain high borrowings which could put it in big financial trouble if proton continues to drag DRB down... Hope tat it won't be the next Renong...High borrowings will kill a company if company making huge losses for few qtrs ahead...

They have 420 mil net cash BUT they don have land...Sooner or later they gonna finish up the cash to acquire land to continue business...Land held for development is only ard 28 mil n its NTA is weak...So it is still not tat good buy as a whole...

BUT the only person tat can prevent MK fm taking Mkland private is Datuk Kasi..he is still holding 19% of Mkland...Datuk Kasi will surely never surrender his stake in mkland if the offer price is low...The relationship of them both I believe are not on the good side...

Just pray hard MK will look into minority shareholders welfare n won't take back n buyout Mkland soon...

To all Mk supporters here...Karambunai taken private by its owner at just 0.05 way below its NTA value...I wonder whether Tan Sri Mustapha will do the same thing given its depressed share prices...If it happens, then we are on all the losing end...They are so wise to privatise at low price now rather than when the price is high n expensive...
