Wow.
The revision for rights issue is mind boggling.
In the min scenario ,enlarged issued share is almost 2 bil.
In the max scenario , enlarged issued share is almost 2.7 bil.
Under max scenario almost rm100 mil for "future biz venture".
I felt the company management should just focus on the power plant project for the 1st 5 years after COD and use the period to accumulate a warchest and strong cashflow to venture other stuff.

The reason is Harta has not reflect its actual earning capacity last quarter(up to march 2020). IBs and analyst are not able to compute and estimate Harta's full earnings and the growing ASP.
Once the coming quarter is out with full ASP factored in, the IBs will be able to paint a better picture.
Same goes to Kossan.
Unlike Supermax, their deeper inventory(4mths) allows greater earnings potential during the march quarter.
And of course Top Glove has till May 2020 results, sure able to reflect greater earnings capacity.

Why seems like harta is the one with scandal rather then top glove? price up so little

Looking at the Top Glove news on the detention of its product in US, this bodes well for Harta as the 2nd largest nitrile glove and having most of their clients in US which offer the highest ASP.

Anyone reading :Supermax has increased selling price - Koon Yew Yin
I suggest that you exercise caution on his words.
The ads selling glove is at retailers pricing and is very much different from manufacturers selling price.
Study and get the facts right instead of following the herd.

Top management able to find a solution for this pandemic period.
Most airlines worldwide are also hit.
Let's see if right issue or private placements will be proposed to add additional buffers for the company financials.

Seems all the fame is surrounding Topglove having the greatest ability to scale/expand capacity and increasing ASP as when they like.
Fame partially went to Supermax in their ability to have better ASP due to OBM structure/pricing.
Many analyst(IBs) also blowing trumpets on both and nothing much on Harta even though the company is No.2 in the world with above average profit margin and better technological advancement in products and production line.

Actually, I believe KYY was referring to assumption or speculating a future profit.
He's not wrong to say that but there must be cautions when company change the core biz.
J@K$ is in water, infrastructure and property development.
Going into utility(power) biz is quite different and require different skill sets. It's like comparing a plastic surgeon and a heart transplant surgeon. Though both knows how to cut and sew, they are very specialise indeed.
But looking at their % of ownership, we know the plant will be run and operated with the expertise of Chinese company which have the know how.
Though whether the plant will be profitable is really everyone's guess.
No biz is guaranteed profit. It depends on who is running it and the timing.
We shall see in the coming quarters that J@K$ can justify their rights issue and their plan to turn around the company by moving into utility biz.

Next month QR will know the remaining 8% is completed.
What is more annoying is the large no of shares after the right issue with min scenario 1.1bil and max scenario 1.4 bil.
Though this is not unexpected with the poor execution of the msian property arm.
DK66 articles will need further adjustments(eg:EPS) in view that the no of shares have increased significantly. Though fundamentals remain unchanged for now.

Stop spamming this forum.
By the way, Harta will never hit RM100....you are talking rubbish.
AT RM100, Harta will be more than RM300 billion in market capitalization.
That's 4 times larger than Maybank market cap.
DO you know Maybank earn more than RM2 billion in net profit per quarter and has more than RM800 billion in assets.

Thailand's first major IPO amid the pandemic brought in 14.9 billion baht ($482 million) for the kingdom's largest maker of medical gloves, Sri Trang Gloves Thailand. The timing helped, with personal protective equipment in high demand due to the ongoing pandemic.
The subscription period for the 438.78 million new shares, priced at the top of a marketed range of 32-34 baht apiece, closed Thursday. The shares are expected to make their debut on the local stock market on July 2.

One thing about Harta.
The management doesn't comes out to boast of the better than expected profits or revenue as compared Supermax and Topglove bosses.
Also Topglove had overtaken Harta as the largest nitrile glove maker.
Hoping for some message from management on how to reclaim its top spot.

Firstly, rebalancing portfolio didn't come from me. Check it from TheStar news.
Secondly, I have group of friends from IB and PE firms. I know how they think.
Thirdly, I think you are making losses, thus your tone. I believe you are a novice in stock market.
Fourthly, this is a free forum, we share info and opinions. You can filter whichever you dislike.
Lastly, Gpacket is not my only stock, I do not need to reach my entry point and I do not expect buying 10 stocks and all 10 stocks make gains.
In Summary, buy/sell at your own risk. Assess information and do you own study.

Interesting move by the PE firm to disposed below 1 year of holding.
The excuse from the PE firm to rebalance portfolio is definitely false as PE firm will not change its investment stance in a short period of less than 1 year.
Fundamental had not changed.
Probably disagreement between the PE firm and CC Puan on the expansion plan.

Having able to sell more gloves is the key, higher ASP will provide the profit margin.

I really like the company CEO for Serba Dinamik which run consultation services for O&G, Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning (EPCC), IT infrastructure, etc which provide good profit margin.
Initially, I was not happy with the company diversing into tech but looking at the world moving into Industrial 4.0, I think the company should give it a try.
But the news of the company moving upstream with the acquisition of Teluk Ramunia is a drawback for the company.
Almost all companies running this sector of biz are making huge losses.
I think Datuk Karim made a mistake in moving upstream.

I believe is the near term(2020-2023) prospect for highway biz and property development is gloomy.
Initially, I also thought that the COvid-19 is here for a couple of months and would probably be gone by June/July.
Looking at the Covid-19 numbers, its likely to be here for next 12-24 months.
This will likely impact people's interest to spend time driving out for drinks on weekends, outings, less schooling for children, etc
Take a drive on weekends to Mont Kiara, Imbi, hot zones as examples, you don't see the usual crowd anymore.
Many people are losing jobs, pay cuts, MSS, etc,,,less people buying or investing in new property development except for upgraders.
So I guess this sums up the key points of the bosses letting go some of their share holdings.
But I believe after 2023, it should begin to gain traction again but may also head roadblock on GE in 2023.

It's not meaningful.
You should look at the market capitalisation which TG is trading at above USD10 billion currently.
By the way, retailers price listed on Amazon may have gone through many middle intermediaries. which cause the price of gloves sold much higher than the ones sold by TG to the wholeseller.

I believe the price is quite high at this moment despite the TP set by IBs of between RM17 to RM25.
It's probably achievable in the next couple of months and not in a week time.
May not be wise to buy now for those interested, might want to wait for month of July where the short sell restriction is lifted and may have some chances to buy lower when the short sellers are back.

Yes. Agreed.
If putting in RM1 today and expecting to get RM2 tomorrow or next month, that is not investing. It's speculating or gambling, in hoping to make a quick gain in the shortest time possible.
Investing means to put in your hard earned money aside to grow while you continue with your day to day living. The expectation is to grow that portfolio for your children's education or future retirement funds. And investing is like buying a small portion of the biz and hoping with good foresight to see that the biz revenue of rm100mil patoday will grow into rm1 bil pa by the time you cash them out or it has reached it's peak. Investing doesn't put focus on share price as earnings grow, share price will reflect accordingly.

It may sound impressive having license from NASA.
However, more than 20 companies worldwide are also getting the same license.
Doesn't sound niche.
Furthermore, based on the report, the design is made in a way the parts are easily accessible to ensure the ventilators are not complex and low cost.
If it's build for mass volume production at low cost, it most likely won't generate a good profit margin.

Fundamental logic:
1) K1 only company in Malaysia given rights to distribute this.
2) This ventilator can be used in hospitals or customised for field response
3) Because it is US-approved (Nasa), it will by default be preferred by Chinese brands
4) This is a low cost, low maintenance device needed by most hospitals, even in poorest of countries. Parts are easily found too.
