@truthseeker1: you may have been mistaken in yr previous statement, as there is a proposed final dividend of 5cents per share with this 4th quarter results announcement.

Chill guys... there is hardly any volume traded so far... a mere 8% compared to 2 days ago when it went up 9cents on the back of >5mil shares traded :))

My kampung lass thoughts on the arbitrage is that its the "big boys' intention to shake off the stronghold of certain informed investors who hold sizeable shares collectively. They wld have done the calculation and price positions that wld work for the "big hands" and also attractive enough for investors like us to arbitrage at these levels between mother and son. With that, the son wld be pushed by the investors with that switch and assisting them to exert confidence of the counter in the market. Win-win for them, and us.

I would expect that now they are in an aggressive collection mode of the mother and the push has only began. Would be exciting to watch the performance of KSL in the weeks leading to CNY and its next quarter results.

But this is just only one kampung lass' view. How wld I know much, I only trade the fruits of my garden for a living :))

@stkoay Sifu, its the least I could do as I have learnt so much from the forum members here (@CCH, @119, @spidee, @raptor, @SS661M, @watchme & yourself to just name a few). I know its tough time now and most of everyone is feeling rather down due to the weak sentiment of the market... and I sure do not want any misconception on KSL. New investors like @edward93, makes up a portion of players in the market and many have not been made aware of information like bonus issues and the upcoming dividend announcement. A few of my friends called me today and asked the same thing with sheer panic in their voice...

I think you have not been advised that today is the ex-date to the bonus issue. Your value of your holding has been halved as the bonus issue is 1 for 1. Meaning to say, if you have 1,000 shares, you will be entitled to 1,000 shares of bonus issue, bringing you total holding to 2,000 shares and the total value being the same before today.

However, you will not see the entitled bonus issue of shares in your portfolio today but it shall appear after Friday, 19 Dec 2014 (should be the next trading day on Monday, 22 Dec).

I hope you now feel less worried why the price dropped by half overnight without any reason.

I am first to apologise if I have personally offended you in any way. I understand that emotions are running high as the market has been very soft from various uncertainties. The continuous falling of crude oil price pose a direct impact to the Malaysian economy which affects the performance of the market immediately, including this counter. The share market play is a mind game. Invested members here are invested, hence, we converge here to share information and discuss openly on facts and figures which are visible but not all may know how to or able to access.

*this being said with NO sarcasm and WITHOUT any harsh tone*

I may be the ditzy "hou po" here but we have all come out from the various discussions here more informed and more aware with our investments. Your input on various angles (esp. on the call warrants) has benefited me and I am sure has benefited many others who choose to not participate actively in the forum. We debate, we fight, we laugh and we learn and prosper together.

The bursa marketplace is big with various instruments and products for all to play and master. @Raptor has shared on how 0650HG works as @spidee has requested him to share information here on this forum so that members here can learn and prosper if it is within their investment risk palate. This is very different from the misconception you have on the message you got... we do not come here to be praised and feel good... its a sharing platform to learn and prosper together.

I may be naive by saying all the above but farting colons are people who are nothing but trolls out to create panic amongst traders and investors that are not well informed so that the prices fall or rise for their own selfish benefit.

Again, I apologise if I offended you even with this posting as I have always prized you as a valuable member here with good sound input and a good debater to weigh out the good, the bad and the ugly.
