KWAP's entry hopefully will lead to greater institutional interest in Hovid. Looks positive.

Looks like a lot of people think Hovid is a rising star. Me too. Hope we are right.

Ms Pearlwhite, thanks for enlightening us on the macro economic situation. I suppose you have already pulled out of the market. But these circumstances are beyond our control. Moreover, this scenario you have painted applies to stocks and businesses worldwide and not just Hovid. Anyway, us small investors Should be more aware of the risks we are taking and play within our means. Just be alert. Don't lose money you cannot afford to lose.

Pearlwhite, looks like you know quite abit about what's going on. Why don't you tell us small investors what you know in plain language instead of just feeling sorry for us? We'll be ever so grateful.

We're here for the long haul. Only contra players need to worry.

Investing for small players like most of us is very challenging. We don't have access to information that the big boys have. We are at a big disadvantage. But having watched and observed this counter for quite a while, it does seem to have little downside risk . I could be wrong but it looks poised for a take off. Wish you guys a HAPPY CNY!

Ended in positive territory. Looks good for next week.

Iris needs time to settle. Probably not advisable to play contra. But fundamentals remain intact.

Alex, I'm surprised you have turned negative on this stock. Can you please tell us what has changed your mind?

Every time there is a correction I hear the same panicky and squeaky voices. The stock market is not for these people. It's too stressful. Better for them to put their money in FD.

Simon Lee, there's more to investing in stocks than meets the eye. It's not an exact science. Otherwise making money in the stock market will so easy. Nobody will lose money and everyone will be a millionaire. Technical and fundamental analysis are helpful. But our own emotional response to, our interpretation to the the information we have, the decisions we make and the timing are all crucial as to whether we make or lose money. Very important, always keep a cool head and invest within your means.

Well, Alex, you have consistently kept faith with this counter. Looks like it!s stirring fr its deep slumber. Should be able to break 40 soon.

This share is unlikely to disappoint. Its present seemingly lacklustre performance gives us a chance to buy and collect at a low price. Be patient.

Some of the comments really make my day! Ha! Ha! Congratulations to those have been very patient. The best is yet to come!

The operative word is MAY . If you can buy it lower so much the better. But our timing cannot be so exact. But I assume you are buying for the mid term or longer.

I agree with vinvin. Now is as good a time as any to buy Iris. For sure it may go lower , but not much lower.

I observe the same negative and panicky comments when Iris was stuck at 28 and then went down to 26.5 sen. As far as I can see the fundamentals have not changed. Iris remains a good buy for both medium and long term.

Psd57..agree with you too. But ,if I may add, statistics are only part of the story, though an important part. When we buy a stock we are investing in its future. The price of a stock will rise in advance of its future earnings. And the more compelling the story and numbers the faster will be the rise. Hopefully this will be the case with Iris.

Remember you bought Iris based on fundamentals. These fundamentals Have not changed. No stock goes up in a straight line. A pullback is quite natural and expected. Of course a contra player will panic when this happens. That's why you can lose money with a rising stock.

Congratulations to all those who bought Iris when it's price got stuck at 28 sen or below last month. But not to fret for those who miss the 'first boat'. Make sure you don't miss the next one. I believe the new target price of 54 sen to be somewhat conservative and any pullback is unlikely to be severe or long lasting. Iris is now a totally different animal. Happy CNY!

Daryltkt, sure you can get burned. But all the signs are positive. If you are a contra player, then it's different. You can lose money even with a rising counter.

Effendytay88, you're right. Buying iris is a no brainier. It's not often you buy a stock and know you are sure to make money.

It's rare to find a counter which shows every sign of going up, yet just sits there and waits patiently for you to buy in. In a month's time 28 sen will look very cheap. And you'll be kicking yourself if you don't buy now!

Rising prices make people excitied and over confident. Falling prices make people depressed and panicky. If you let your emotions take over you will lose money in the stock market. Know your stock and be patient.
