Hi i3gambler, sorry for being late to this blog, I'm trying to understand the synthetic put option you suggested above, ie buy C3V and sell FKLI in a ratio. How does this position make money if KLCI goes down, the profit earned from FKLI would cancel out the loss on C3V call warrant, unless FKLI can go down below the cost of owning the C3V call (RM3812.50) or 76.25 point.

BTW all the call warrants listed on Bursa are currently out of the money, trying to figure out if the above example can be reversed by using puts as I want to own call. Thanks.

With due respect, after reading the article 3 times, I still don't get what a "pivotal moment" is, is this a turning point on a chart like a bullish reversal, a certain percentage increase from the lowest low, a Fibonacci support number? This article would be complete if the author could illustrate the above concept with a few examples of stocks turning at pivotal moment, appreciate the good work.
