I still believe that Nestle Malaysia is good to buy though price is very high for its consistent stable dividend.

I still believe that shares like Nestle Malaysia and Dutch Malaysia can provide good returns to investors who have patience in the long run though they may now experience some shortfalls. Why? Because they are items which are greatly used by us at all times.

I am confused to invest in nestle malysia or dutch lady malaysia

currently I hold only 100 shares in Nestle Malaysia (NM) which I bought in 2018 at RM 85.00 per share. The company annual dividends which I have received to date of 1.9% is not that great but I am still satisfied since its market price has risen from RM 85/ to more than RM 140/. Currently NM's share price has come down to about RM 135 and the chances are that its market price appears to move downwards. I
am looking now into buying another 100 shares. I seek the advice of investors/researchers whether or not I should buy another 100 shares knowing that NM is a good share. Investor the great David.

I used to love Boustead Holdings before for the handsome growth. Its current standing of poor performance is probably due to Lodin's involvement in politics under the former Govt. But now he has left Boustead with a serious problem and this cannot be solved by the current administration. I hope the former Boustead Finance Director who has also retired from Boustead may be able to give his advice so that Boustead may go back to its former glorious days. I had a lot of investments in unit trusts which adopt a very different scheme from FD and shares. While FD investment is straight forward, I found you have to be careful and you must aim to monitor how the FD interest is given to you when it matures. If you do not take out the money plus the interest accrued soon after the FD matures, the bank will transfer your money into a savings account of yours without your consent and in many cases there will be a penalty. Then you have to start all over again to decide how you wish to start all over again. So watch out. If you buy unit trusts, watch out the payment of service charges that are forced on you and this can go up to 5%. Regards.

Comments that Nestle under BN < Rm 50 is good but appears false hope. I will say no one including Nestle Management and Board of Directors have any clue on the future price of Nestle. I have almost forgotten about its future price but enjoying its DY at 2.0 because even at the low of DY < 2.0, you still enjoy a good dividend quoted in Ringgit since the dividend payment is calculated based on the market share price of Nestle which is the highest in Bursa. Poor management of Berjaya Toto (BT) and this is why its ROE is 4.97% which is very low though its DY =5.99%. If you are a long time investor sell it and buy Nestle or DL, only 100 shares of Nestle at RM 150 per share with its ROE=75%. Another good share is Dutch Lady and its share price is RM 65/ . In Nestle or DL you gain on both share price appreciation and besides good dividends. If you buy and pay pittance priced shares like BT you get poor returns. ELK- RESOUCES BHD share is a worthwhile investment in terms of its dividend Dy=4.61% and ROE at 8.0% which is better than your bank FD interest rate at 3 to 4 %. The Agm is on 8/8/2019.The annual report for year 2019 will not be mailed to you ( lazy lot these days) unlike other years and you have to contact the company Registrar which is Tricor. Just read YTL has bullied the management of YTL Land to deprive the shareholders of paying any dividends over the past years.. One person commented that share holders must bring up this issue of poor management in YTL to MSWG to investigate. ytl power seems to go into a lot of problem these days though now pays dividend at 6.06% but better than yr bank FD rate of 3 to 4%pa . You cannot keep it for the dividend only since it pays the dividend only once in a year. I cannot sell now as well since I bought it a few years ago at rm 1.30 per share and now dangling only around rm 0.80 per share. So keep or sell you shall face problem. Another share to buy is Paramount Corporation. With its coming bonus and steady dividend payment coupled with very highly able CEO, I have good faith in this share. Don't forget to attend its AGM on 10th July 2019 and we can get an updated info about this company. Investor.

Beware Nestle Malaysia share price over the last 8 months more flattish around RM 140/ to RM 150/. I don't think Nestle management will give bonus 0r rights issue in the near future to bring down the share price. ROE of Paramount has been quoted now as 8.83% but I could not find any where how this quoted figure for ROE has been derived at. Can any one help me to justify how this figure was arrived. I reckon that with such a situation combined with the lack of a fixed date for implementation of the bonus announced earlier ( by the CEO Jeffrey) will most likely cause to continue the price of the share to vary with time. This may be a blind speculation on my part. I would like other share holders and the CEO to comment on my statement without any prejudice to the Company.Serious.Investor. .

Before Paramount's DY was nearly 7% but now it is 4.06%. Current ROE =8.83% which I consider is relatively very low compared to Nestle Malaysia and Dutch Lady which have ROE of more than 90%. But u cannot compare like that coz market share prices of the latter are very high.
A a long time investor in Paramount , I do not really comprehend why Paramount's ROE is very low. May I request the Management of Paramount or its Board of Directors to explain to me and other share holders how they arrived at its ROE is 8.83%. I had this share for more than 20 years. It has a grand name but shame cannot shine. I tried to buy this biscuit in big super markets but no luck. Company must adopt oompletley different strategy like sell it to some other small or big biscuit companies and run. Need better company directors with new strategies. Wake up directors.
