ok, then lets put fundamental case, no. 1) Plant #12 will complete and fully commision by next year... that is 4.4b... we don't know now they are at 24b capacity or 22b capacity... its still very confused... but lets just say 22b, 4.4b on top of 22b = 26b... it's almost equal to Kossan 26.5b... Kossan at 26.5b doing RM55m net profit.... so that should be the target for superman to achieve RM50m net profit by end next year... It did guide ebitda will be 20%.
From this, I calculated:-
1st half 2020 - 2.2b complete = potential 41m net profit per quarter
2nd half 2020 - another 2.2b complete = potential 51m net profit per quarter

technically, it still need to break above the triangle downtrend line... to confirm if it is back on growth track...
secondly, valuecap emerges as shareholder is an indication at the level 1.40 to 1.50 should be a good bottom... but don't expect it to fly to sky so soon...

Michael, it's true, it lacks behind Thai glove producer, but then again you have to remember, Thai became biggest after court case win a european partner and takeover its assets in Thai and merge with No. 2... and not much competition in Thai now for its raw material supply... now with Thai baht so strong, it will feel its effect soon... I agree, it could be one day show... but with macd crossing, usually it's one week of action, the last macd crossover, it went up 20cents... so if this can go up by that much, it will have broken above the downtrend line.... technical chart...

close at 1.52.... bullish daily macd finally crossover... so the bullish trend tagging along with big boy harta and topglov... how much it will rise further depends on the upcoming QR report...

based on previous experience and charting history, if valuecap emerges on a company report, it takes 1 year to reach prior high, after that high, usually 2 to 3X... within 3 years....

and also, last year after 31 Oct release of annual report, they release earnings report on 1 Nov... so always be prepared for both scenarios... in case any surprises...

but also beware... as the chart of superman still in triangle, not yet properly breakout of the triangle... it is still an unknown if it will break out of upside or downside... maybe after annual report and qr report will give us some hints...

after AGM date announcement yesterday, today should be notice of book closure and release of annual report... good for the weekend read... :)

right now, you just need to wait until after maturity of C65 which is tomorrow, to have any hope of rise... the next cw maturity will only be end Dec....

a) Loose shares, so not easy for retailers to sell - good for the stock to rise without too much resistance or selling pressure
b) If they give all treasury shares, retail selling will be huge, imagine potential 54million shares to float around, massive selling pressure
c) Remaining some portion of treasury shares later can do further fund raising either
- Private placement to institution eg fund managers
- Sell to market at a later date to monetise

i'm waiting for CIMB report... need to see what they say... sometimes in the report u can sniff sniff some info.... but don't get into the revenue and profit figure, sometimes not very accurate... all info taken with a pinch of salt... but i think this treasury dividend distribution is best described for no final dividend announced on Q4...

u need to understand why companies buy treasury shares, some sell off to market to pocket themselves, some distribute as dividend... it's quite common.... Plus superman AGM is end Nov, so anytime from now to Nov having announcement is not any surprise... then the company can use the AGM to do EGM to approve the dividend... or use AGM straight... make shareholders happy mah....

looking at the volume this morning, it looks like today is the announcement....

at yesterday's price, 1.52... paying 6.2% dividend free money, who don't want to grab... :)... today all institutional fund grabbing... :) super volume...

Harta says full capacity in Nov and Dec due to trade war diversion... most gloves sales to US should be robust due to higher priced china gloves...

Not sure how they going to fund it... it needs rm200mil capex per year... thats like 100% capex extra... unless they know profit will increase much to be able to charge higher depreciation... if they can do something like raise corporate bond like topglove, then maybe its possible...
