What is the ex date for this dividend?

Also Jlex11, with the free shares, won’t the mother share price be halved and my PA share price will also be halved accordingly since it is tied to the mother share price? Can pls explain further? Thanks!

@jlex11 Hey, thanks for your valued input. I do not get the valuations though. As I understand, 2 PA warrants can convert to 1 mother share. Why do u say there is an exercise price for the PA, and where did the 13cts come from? Pls explain to me? Thanks

Can anybody shed some light on Fintec-PA prospects if the warrants and consolidation take place? I know I wont benefit from the exercise but I dont mind holding for potential goreng up by this syndicate group. I have 200 lots at 0.55.

I believe VC has good potential for upside movement as with other penny stocks. But ppl are not going to buy in when so much negative worthless talk is being bandied here. I know it’s just the same few bad apples that are spoiling the whole site. Most investors here are genuine buyers and sellers. Pls contribute constructively and only if you are invested in this stock. Otherwise pls don’t come into the discussion. We only want to make some money. A sinking boat brings everyone down ( I wrote this same comment for Lambo site, where this sad thing is also happening).

This bad situation is also happening over at VC. Both counters are somewhat negatively impacted. If I had known, I would never have bought Lambo and VC, my mistakes.

The ladies here giving info about converting are obviously just being helpful to others who asked how to convert. What do we gain if others lose money? Not sure why u r so belligerent about this issue.FYI I believe rosetan hasn't offloaded yet, so she hasn't 'converted and flee' lah like u said. I said earlier that I think she is very brave.

Actually rosetan is the savviest of us here, she saw that it's very worth it to convert, bit the bullet and did it. Salute to you rosetan! I was late to the show but I still make a lot even at 20 sen now. Where got any more counter like this one, can convert and make money in a week? Our cost is 14 sen so whatever ppl say, still very profitable (5.5/14 = 39.3%). Where can u find this profit margin? Make less, make more, asal make money, I don't care.

@SamBeng- you might still be in time, but it's might. If want faster return of mother shares, have to do it urself asap n not thru nominee. If not in time, u wont lose ur money. Pls read previous posts related to this. The other bigger risk is Trive price goes down n u can't do anything cos ur converted warrants r not credited yet into ur account.

Not to say I am so savvy at this, but if cost is 14-14.5 sen, the ROI is quite impressive at the current price. For the trouble of going thru conversion etc, and the wait, I felt I had done right to convert. Having said that, if I had WB converted into shares oredi in hand, I wud have sold at 20 sen last week, so anything above that for me is a bonus. Can't win them all. Stone, any more directions will be appreciated.

No Ibi, it's cos u paid 10 sen conversion and after the ex, u need to pay 9 sen only. It's okay, ur Q does not irritate, I called up n the registrar guy explained.

@hkck - Remisier said go to Trive website, see got form or not to download. Most likely got.

cKhong n Ibi Chan - they refund ur monies if cannot convert in time. In that event we will get extra warrants at adjusted market price. Still can sell if the premium is there after the bonus exercise.

cKhong - you doing it yourself? Faster that way than thru nominees. FYI I instructed on 12/10, n my application thru nominee was sent on 17/10, two days b4 Deepavali, and I was informed this morning that by tmrw morning the mother shares will be in my account and I'm free to sell them. If u calculate the no. days, it took 3 trading days only. The no. to call to check (just give your name) is 03 20849000 n I spoke with Teoh. Really helpful. If u don't meet the dateline, they will contact you to refund ur money, and Mercury Securities KL (the financial is adviser for the bonus exercise) told me WB holders will get 1 for 6 bonus warrants too. Hope you make it!

I believe Trive will bounce back up. Normal profit taking going on.

cKhong - I'm converting another 200 lots. I really believe that my mother shares will come back well b4 the ex-date/adjustment date. If u decide to, do so now. IMO converting has less risk than holding on to the warrant , WB is now only 5.5 sen, where else Trive mother still has a premium over the converted price (24 sen - 16 sen for me). But after the ex entitlement date, I don't know lah. I couldn't get a definitive answer on whether Trive is going to give bonus on WB also. You cud call Mercury Securities to ask. I called two offices n still cannot get a definite answer.

@rosetan - r u gonna wait till 27/10 or the following week b4 u sell off the mother? What's ur strategy?

@rosetan - I called up Securities Services and cud trace my name/application even tho under nominees. Teoh there told me my shares will be credited this evening or tmrw morning latest. I believe still got time to convert my remaining warrants(300 lots) but now the counter is fluctuating crazily so not so sure. Also checked with Mercury Securities and the person told me not sure yet that WB will also get bonus warrants.

rosetan - I'll give it a shot n ask in the name of Maybank nominees. I'm quite sure not many r converting like me. My check was for 400 lots in one go n there won't be many like that. Any info or news is still better than none. Thanks.

rosetan u r right, I remember as far back as 5-6 yrs ago, I scoured the papers for warrants that r in the money n couldn't find any. It was zero then and am sure it's no different today. That explains why we cannot understand Trive WB status when the discount is so good and ppl don't know how to react or to handle it.

rosetan, TQ for ur input. Yes, I have not seen the Trive conversion form. Your views on the conversion and its risks are spot-on. When I call up that Securities company, can I ask that lady specifically pertaining to my own application? Just like u did and the lady cud even tell you when u are getting back ur mother shares. I'd like that reassurance cos now I only deal with the nominee dept and they cud screw up.

@rosetan - can u provide the contact no. of the registrar to call regarding the conversion, return or mother shares? I have many questions about this process n want to call the registrar Monday morning. Thanks!

Effendy Tay - Thanks, I didn't see that till u said it. Just hope it translates into positive upside for Trive, not a sell-on-news profit taking. Yeah, deMusangking, many ppl converting in order profit from the steep discount to mother. I'm also wondering if this is sustainable or have negative effects on Trive price. My 2 cents is the company is happy to take our conversion payment to add to its operating budget. That's why this discount has gone on for so long.

Thank you, Azman Ramli. Ppl shud think about what they write b4 they post comments in a public forum. Some ppl talk nonsense like doing this and that (drink and womanise) with the profits they made. That's offensive. Others are rude or disparaging. That's offensive. Keep the forum related to stocks, stocks news and announcements, opinions on stock price direction, market sentiment etc. That will be helpful. We all want to make profits and keep getting better at this. Share, teach, guide and educate, that's good karma for yourself.

Btw also what exactly have you 'clarified' for us here? 'Adjusted accordingly' means what? Means conversion price adjusted, not bonus warrants given. Don't talk like you know so much!

The disclosure only mentions bonus shares (423M) and the adjusted conversion price of 9 sen. There is no mention at all of bonus warrants for warrant holder. Can someone ascertain this cos we will lose out if there is no bonus warrants for wb holders.

rose tan - my remisier also say can only convert on t2 or t3, cos we don't own the shares yet, haven't paid for it.

@Reno - do you know if warrant holders are entitled to free warrants too, 1 for 6? Is anyone here absolutely sure of this? Pls inform.

Anybody is expert on warrant conversion here? Pls advise - Suppose I apply thru nominees on Monday to convert, and the ex-date is announced while the conversion is going on, and my mother shares haven't been banked into my share account yet by the ex-date, will I be still entitled to free/bonus warrants?

I also bought another 200 lots @5.5 sen this morning with a mind to convert. The premium is too good to pass up. Will see how things go in the next 2-3 days b4 it's T-3 for it.

@rosetan - yeah, not wanting to count chickens b4 they are hatched (bad luck), but my cost is 14 sen n I have 400 lots. That's the best trade I've ever done so far.
