With petronas contract on PIC started in sept .the contribution will be reflected on Q4 QR. so is this possible to break 2018 net profit. let us wait and see next QR. Stay invested for another 3 mths to see the result.


Kuala Lumpur, 1 October 2020 – Integrated Facilities Management service provider, GFM Services Berhad (“GFM” or “the Company”) and its subsidiary companies (“GFM Group” or “the Group”) has secured a contract to provide Operations and Maintenance (“O&M”) services at PIC Village 1 & 2 and all the associated facilities, non-process building and gate houses at Pengerang Integrated Complex (“PIC”), located in Pengerang, Johor. GFM’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Facilities Management Sdn. Bhd., secured Letters of Award (“LOA”) from PRPC Utilities and Facilities Sdn. Bhd. and PETRONAS Refinery and Petrochemical Corporation Sdn. Bhd, for the O&M services of the building premises occupied by both companies, respectively. Both of these companies are under Petroliam Nasional Berhad (“PETRONAS”) Group and are responsible for the utilities, site development and other infrastructure facilities required by PIC. The contract is valid for a period of 3 years from the commencement date on 14 September 2020. Under the LOA, GFM’s scope of services comprise of O&M services of buildings, common facilities and utilities, preservation of buildings and facilities, canteen operations and catering services, pantry consumables and stationeries supplies, PIC muster point maintenance and others.

GFM first 3 Qtrs were profitable with total net profit of 5.2mil which is almost equal to 2019 full year 5.9m net profit. if Q4 2020 still profitable with 2mil plus. confirm it will break 2019 or even 2018 net profit of 7.6mil net profit. So at current price is this cheap compare to last year price or even 2018 price?

As long as Next QR can better than current QR. GFM share price will recover. The 3 directors holding 300mil out of 520mil shares. Minus those long term shareholder die die wont sell one. Left not many free float shares available. Sooner or later it will be up again. just be patient.

In my opinion this "boring" counter in a "boring" industry has been sideways for so long that most of the operators have lost interest, so expect no big swings or fluctuations typical in other ACE counters, but we should see a slow but steady climb to reflect the good company performance. It is good enough if they can improve on the dividend yield, and continue to slowly climb in revenue and profit as we move on, as this will generate honest interest to the counter. At this point this counter should focus on recovery to it's 30 sen mark, then hopefully achieve it's fair value of about 40 sen. For new eager and impatient traders, this is a good counter to teach you the 'investment' part of stock trading.

Agree with you. So far past 4 yrs GFM has been generous to pay dividend as long as the company can generate decent profit except FY2019 with lesser dividend due to lower profit. FY2020 if nothing goes wrong it should be with higher profit. Hope can have better dividend payout. just be patient.
