(Kuala Lumpur, 1st) The subsidiary of GFM Services (GFM, 0039, ChiNext) has obtained an operation and maintenance (O&M) service contract issued by a subsidiary of National Petroleum, but did not disclose the value of the contract.

The company filed with the exchange today that the wholly-owned Global Facilities Management will provide services for PIC 1 and 2 in the Pengerang Complex (PIC) in Johor and all related facilities.

The contract was jointly issued by PRPC Utilities Sdn Bhd and Petronas Refining and Petroleum Enterprises Sdn Bhd; these two Petronas subsidiaries are responsible for PIC's utilities, site development and other infrastructure related businesses.

The contract lasts for 3 years and will take effect from the 14th of last month.

Rossland Nordin, Executive Vice Chairman of GFM Services, pointed out that this is the second PIC contract that the company has received, which proves the customer's confidence in the company.
