VALUATION AND RECOMMENDATION
We believe that the result from Maybank Indonesia will provide a boost to the Group’s overall 1QFY17 result. We were pleasantly surprised by the continued solid growth in NII. All-in-all, we are sanguine on the Group’s prospect for the rest of FY17 given that we expect provisions to come down and the potential to maintain the momentum of loans growth and quality deposits growth. While the expected total return is currently below our threshold of +15%, we are making an exception in this case pending for the Group's 1QFY17 result where there could be a possible revision in our TP. I agree with ZeaXG. I don't wanna sound too bullish but I reckon Maybank can touch RM11-RM12 as GE14 approaches. After all, BN needs money to fight the opposition.

整体业务表现不俗 马银行印尼净利上涨10％

（吉隆坡15日讯）马来亚银行印尼公布，在截至2017年3月31日止第一财季，所取得的净利和少数股东权益（PATAMI）按年从4439亿印尼盾增10.4％至4901亿印尼盾（1亿5947万令吉）。

该行表示，今次表现出色，主要是拜净利息收入增加、有效的成本管理、企业贷款健康增长以及伊斯兰教银行业务持续表现优异所赐。

它的贷款按年从108兆1000亿印尼盾增长5.7％至114兆2000亿印尼盾。

全球银行业务贷款由21兆5000亿印尼盾飙升20.8％至26兆印尼盾，受惠于重新调整和重新规划投资组合。

马来亚银行印尼的中小企业和商业贷款增长9%至50兆5000亿印尼盾，而零售银行贷款由于消费支出放缓而减少6.2％至37兆7000亿印尼盾。

马来亚银行集团总裁兼首席执行员拿督阿都法里德阿利亚斯表示，马来亚银行印尼将会继续关注资产素质，同时在未来几个季度进军一些增长领域，特别是那些支持政府各项经济发展的领域。
